Tea-Do — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I originally ordered a sweet matcha tea from the speciality menu. Obviously, I assumed that the tea was sweet and as a specialty, it would taste good. Instead, I received what tasted like water with some pearls. I returned to the store, where the staff explained that apparently the sweet matcha only has matcha powder and no sweetener, hence the watery taste. This was quite strange but fortunately the customer service was very good. My drink was replaced with a Japanese drink that tasted like actual matcha, although it was overly sweet (but most boba places have extremely sweet drinks also). I have ordered the exact same bubble tea (same sweetness, same topping) whenever I went to this place. Ironically there is this guy who would always make totally wrong tea for me. I never had any issues with any other people who work there except for this guy. He seems to not read orders and make whatever he feels like making for his customers. I have given him hour chances to make the same bubble tea and he have failed all of them perfectly. I have wasted my money and mood trashing those cups of tea....

Very cozy boba shop. The tea tasted quite nice.

In addition, the Jenga on the tables was a nice touch. The service was pretty fast considering the high volume of orders.

This shop is exactly what a good boba shop should be, with the wide drink selection, the cozy atmosphere, the many tables to sit at for a date, and even games on some tables.
