As we stepped into The Brass Tap, we were greeted by a cozy atmosphere and an inviting vibe, setting the stage for an unforgettable night. Owned by the dynamic duo Izak and Danielle, this gem of a bar surpassed all expectations with its exceptional offerings.
Let's dive into the culinary delights. The Boom Boom Shrimp, a tantalizing appetizer, packed a punch of flavor with its crispy exterior and succulent shrimp, perfectly complemented by a spicy kick. And the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza? It was a masterpiece of culinary innovation, combining the sweetness of honey with the heat of pepperoni to create a symphony of flavors that left our taste buds dancing with delight.
But the culinary excellence was just the beginning. The Brass Tap boasts an extensive list of beers on tap, catering to every beer enthusiast's palate. From local craft brews to international favorites, the selection was nothing short of impressive. Each pour was served with precision, showcasing the expertise and dedication of the staff in curating a beer list that truly stands out.
However, what truly set The Brass Tap apart was its unparalleled service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff, knowledgeable and attentive, guided us through the menu with ease, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfection.
In conclusion, our evening at The Brass Tap was a testament to the dedication and passion of its owners, Izak and Danielle. With its delectable cuisine, extensive beer selection, and impeccable service, this establishment has undoubtedly earned its place as a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Read moreThe Brass Tap in Manayunk is a preferred destination of mine, boasting delicious cuisine, outstanding staff, and a consistently welcoming crowd. Its a medium-sized sports bar that cultivates an inclusive atmosphere, which can transform depending on the evening's events.
The owners demonstrate remarkable dedication, exemplifying a genuine concern for both employees and patrons. Their monthly calendar, showcasing various events, is particularly noteworthy. I am especially fond of their biweekly quizzo and karaoke nights!!!! Some of my preferred menu items are the boom boom shrimp, pot stickers, wings – offered in both boneless and bone-in varieties, with the teriyaki, Asian chilli crisp, and brown sugar bourbon dry rub being personal favorites – prime rib sandwich, Asian crispy chicken sandwich, and an assortment of tacos, they’re all bomb!! The pizza, which can be customized, is also better than expected! The cheese curds, pretzel, and nachos are my favorite snack options. Last, but not least, their brunch might be the most slept on on the area, with the all-American breakfast and southwest skillet being personal recommendations.
I’ve never had a bad time at the Brass Tap. It’s the perfect spot to hang with a friend or five, and an even better spot to come and make new ones. Catch a bite to eat, have a beverage, watch your favorite sports game, sing kareoke, or even make a craft. They do it all!! The staff rocks and won’t disappoint. Cheers to Manayunk’s...
Read moreI am baffled there are so many positive reviews because my company and I had the worst dining experience I have ever experienced in my life. I have worked in multiple restaurants and offer patience and grace typically, knowing what it's like to be behind the scenes, but this experience was comically awful. The manager's blasé attitude pushed me over the edge. The only reason a meal was comped was because the waitress never entered the meal into the system...which we know based off the receipt and the reality that the waitress brought out 2/3 meals. Our third guest waited 20 minutes for her meal since it was never entered with our initial order. One burger was overcooked and made incorrectly, and when asked to have it remade, they just swapped an ingredient instead of remaking. It was obvious since it was cold. L-A-Z-Y.
The other guests dining around us in the dining room were also experiencing hiccups. For example, one table's food came out twice and the waitress put it in front of them cluelessly. Truthfully, we should have left but we were really hoping for any glimmer of improvement or understanding that these multiple hiccups were significantly impacting our experience as well as others. The only positive I can share is the tater...
