I recently visited Castle Roxx and had an absolutely amazing time! The ambiance was incredible, with its medieval-inspired decor transporting me to another era. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the bartender. He was not only friendly and attentive but also incredibly skilled. Terrible place, apparently they only allow people with American passports to get in so if you're a foreigner don't even waste your time going to this place. The guy working at the door on the night of Sep 2 2018 (had a tiny white dog) was super rude and quite honestly racist or some weird version of xenophobia! Big fan of the shot wheel, always a great way to start a night, it gives you a discounted random shot. Prices are extremely fair for Philadelphia, and the Friday/Saturday staff is highly attentive. Castle Roxx also runs an open bar for $15 from 9-11pm on Friday; includes bud light, lager draft, and well drinks.
