The Original Stand — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Multiple times I have ordered from the stand. Today drew the line and I informed them I will leave a review. I asked for honey bbq and never got it. About 3-4 days ago I ordered as well and was missing sauce. I received the sauce on the side and the approach has been so nonchalant. Today I was not walking back for sauce I wasted my break walking to the location to get back to not have my food as I asked. The cashier asked the cook if they were out of BBQ that was not the case. The BBQ was available and the cook told the cashier I never asked for BBQ. The cashier informed him that the ticket did indicate BBQ. previously I had twice ordered cheese fries and never received it. They then put the cheese on my fries and the cheese was cold. At this point it seems as if your workers are lackadaisical and complacent for this to occur multiple times which indicates to me there is a lack of culture amongst the business. The Stand makes very delicious food. Everything is fresh and prepared to order. Every time that I have visited, I was never disappointed with my food. Always hot, always tasty, and always unfortunately a wait. That is why I rated this yummy place 4/5. It’s a busy corner so the parking is limited but the wait can be a little too long at times. However the food is really good and obviously the wait doesn’t deter me from supporting this Black-Owned business. I’ve been numerous times and will continue to go. If the wait was a shorter time, I would be there everyday, so maybe that’s a good thing lol. Also, it’s cash only. If you’re okay with a little wait, please visit. You will not be disappointed....

I’ll never eat from this place again. Called in an order, girl told me 25 min for my order to be ready. I get there and have to wait an additional 30 min for my order. So we’re talking an hour for my food. No apologies, just a bunch of attitude like I was the problem. None of the cooks wearing masks or gloves. Then when I get home I look at the receipt and see I was charged extra for mac and cheese even though there’s nothing on their online menu (where I ordered from) stating there was an up charge.
