Top notch Caribbean and American food — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I was REALLY disappointed ordering from here the other day. I got a large jerk chicken with rice and peas, Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. I also bought my mom a medium fried whiting with rice and peas and cabbage. Her food seemed to be okay because they fried the fish fresh. My food was not. The only part I could really eat was the rice and peas. The jerk chicken was hard, dry and lacking flavor. The Mac and cheese tasted tangy and bitter. Initially, I thought it was because they used a different cheese but then my stomach started hurting. The sweet potatoes tasted off too. This is a picture of what I ended up throwing away making it pretty much a waste. I really had a taste for Jamaican food so I'm STILL mad and my stomach still hurts thinking about it. The food is good. The problem I have is a few things. 1. The chicken sits out uncovered and the ones on top looked dried out. If they cover the chicken and other food with lids like they do the Mac and cheese that’s more sanitary and keeps food moist, the one lady coughed but coughed in her arm but she was over the food and one of the guys in the back was rubbing his nose but did use gloves when he brought the Mac and cheese to the front. The light skinned woman with the bun atop her hair working the front she was snappy with a customer because he was trying to talk through the glass instead of the service window but customer satisfaction doesn’t seem to be a priority there I doubt they would have a bad temperament with white people and it’s unfortunate African Americans get taken for granted when spending their money. Dude literally this stuff was like heaven in my mouth this is literally the best Caribbean food I’ve ever eaten in my life bro. I ordered it in door dash last night and absolutely had to leave a review I bought the wing platter for my four year old he tore it up with some sweet potato’s and Mac and cheese. My boyfriend got the stew chicken and absolutely loved it which says a lot because he’s from lousiana and really picky about stew chicken! And then I got the curry chicken with cabbage bro when I tell you this is the best cabbage I’ve eaten in my life from a Caribbean store it’s the truth, it was seaosnef SOOO WELL IT WAS ALL EXTREMELY DELCIOUS!!! This place I can say in confidence everything we ordered was delicious I can’t wait to try everything else in the store I honestly bet it’s all just as good....
