Awful customer service. Even though all Wendy's over a month before this were supposed to have in place a way to order over the phone or app and pick your order up at the door.... For people without a car because you cannot walk up to the drive thru.. Which is understandable. I am nine months pregnant and it was raining and I was hungry and these people refused to serve me over phone and pick up at door.. Was told to download door dash but I was out of state and not home and had nowhere to deliver to AND you need WiFi to download the App ..so I ended up walking up to cars in drive thru to ask them to add to their order and give them the money... And not myself walk up anywhere near the drive thru window. Got a woman to agree and the lady over speaker said "no walk up orders and if you try I will cancer both orders !!!!" So in the rain, hungry and pregnant I had to walk away hungry. Luckily some beautifully kind woman drove up to me and literally handed me exactly what I was going to order even got the drink correct.. Even though I NEVER Told anyone my order. Four for four with burger and strawberry lemonade. So grateful. She was livid what they were doing!! Only to find out when I called the 1800 number twenty minutes later to be informed that what they did was NOT OKAY and against their policy!! They are DEFINETELY supposed to be allowing phone orders and pick up at door because of 18 wheelers not being able to fit through drive thru and people without cars!! People without cars can't eat during the virus outbreak?!?? And the fact she threatened to cancel people's orders. Tried calling back two weeks later and they FINALLY must have gotten reprimanded because they are doing the morally right thing now and following...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and customer service at Wendy's today. I have to admit, I had low expectations going in. As an employee of a competing fast-food restaurant, I often hear stories about rats running across the parking lot at Wendy's—but it didn't seem to matter much today. The food was great and the customer service was even better.
When I ordered my meal through their drive-thru window, the young woman who served me asked how she could help me get through the line faster. She offered me free fries for any reason, even if I just wanted them for myself! She also told me about their kids' menu and said that if my kids were hungry they could order off of it and have their meals brought out first so they wouldn't have to wait with me while I ate my regular meal.
I was impressed by how kind these employees were towards each other while they worked as well as towards their customers. There was no sense of competition between them or even among themselves: they all seemed focused on keeping each other happy while making sure customers got what they needed quickly and efficiently without rushing us through our meal or making us feel like we were being rushed...
Read moreI just wanted to make a note that, being a handicapped local resident, I went for food after calling an being informed that the establishment was open till 2 AM.... I made an online account, then placed an order with the incentive of a reward of a 10 piece nugget, with an additional JR. Bacon cheeseburger for 1($), an additional dollar. After all of the above, and spending an incredibly long time, fighting with the website, that by the way is terribly designed, as well as the slowest thing since the story of the tortoise and the hair..... I was not only turned away but treated extremely rudely, and being disrespected and I'll informed..... I went home not only hungry but as well as disappointed, upset, and distraught. Spent the last 23 mins of my evening heating hot water for a dinosaur of a ramen soup, with trimmings of mayo and crushed salt...
