This is the first time I want to contact my credit card and dispute a charge. This is my local McDonalds and I frequent here weekly. I have no idea who the heck was working on Wednesday and Thursday this week 2nd shift but I place a mobile order for my kids bc they love the fries. Both days I ordered like usual. I picked up inside the lobby one day and the next I went thru the drive thru. My order was fulfilled correctly and the employees were nice passing off the food but the food itself was COLD GARBAGE! I spent $11 one day and $12 the next. I am screaming at my kids like why are you not eating? Whats up? My daughter says mommy these fries are old and hard. Dam both days I hit route 78 and was on my way to handle business. I talked with my partner and we agreed it was an off night. The only person I recognized was the Filipino manager that was leaving the first day. The 2nd day I ordered I did not recognize any employees. Confrontation is not my best personality traits. I call McDonalds phone and was promptly disconnected. I called back and said you just hung up on me I was calling to speak to a manager. The guy hung up 🤷♀️ like what? Hello??? Once I arrived home this establishment was closed. If there was any possible way for me to get back to Phillipsburg and walk inside and ask for a manager I would have. I worked food nearly 20 years and I can tell this location is struggling. Whoever is new needs training. French fries cannot be served cold and hard. I spent $ and my kids went hungry twice this week. I had to get dinner twice and pay twice. If you think that is ok or funny it isn’t. The only 2 other times I ever had an issue here at this location happened to be the 2 nights the regular manager was not there. I know the employees could care less if I return or not. I get it. I am one of those silly delusional people that like to give the benefit of the situation at hand but after 2 incidences involving cold french fries in the sane week around the same time I would be a fool to return, besides my kids have coined this the yucky McDonalds they want to visit the location near Shoprite. Sad situation because we are regulars here and I do like some of the evening employees but dam It is like flushing your $ down the toilet. I just do jot have income to buy...

Although, I did order my double cheeseburger plain .. no other McDonald's where I have ordered this same exact thing from (as I do everytime) does their double cheeseburger ever come out quite like this time .. 😒 I've always gotten served a juicy,somewhat meaty burger. But, not at this McDonald's 😕 Complete opposite actually.. I am unpleased with the quality and I'm definately dissatisfied overall with my whole experience on this day. And also, not to mention the fries tasted like they had been sitting out all day. They were not very good to bite into! 😔 Another thing I should add is, they have it online and on the restaurant windows of signs stating you can dine in or the option to order inside and then take out or choose a table whichever you prefer.... But, that indeed is not the case as the doors were locked and no customer was allowed inside. Which I had a problem with .. for the simple fact that I had my 19 month old daughter with me and she wanted the whole experience of going in and ordering and checking out the Happy Meal toys that are usually displayed in the main lobby .... but unfortunately, for us we did not get any of that ... We basically got shut down left and right. I will not be going back to this Mcdonald's. At least anytime soon that is unless it is a last resort .. get it together McDonald's especially since your prices are over...
Read moreI have worked in customer service for 14 years and food service for 6. I have never once written a review but I am beyond disappointed with what I just went through. Their system was down which isn't a problem. I waited 10 minutes before the manager took my money with no apology for the wait. I waited another 15 minutes for my food and was missing the fries. No big deal. Went back and handed them my bag. They brought me a bad with only fries. Once again I went to the window to explain the situation and finally the manager that took my money decided to apologize. I calmly explained that I wished she would have been more empathetic to my situation and apologized earlier. She blames it on the girl that was running the window informing me she was new. I told her that my issue wasn't with the new girl it was with her as a manager. She immediately started raising her voice and slammed the window. Pissed off about her behavior I don't notice until I get home that I missing a meal. I called her and she accused me of trying to start trouble and hung up on me.
