I've heard good things about Angie's & this one recently opened in my area. Sadly, I must leave my first bad review as this entire endeavor was a disaster.
First problem: the kiosk asked me questions about my drink after I ordered it; would you like no ice, light, ice, etc. But AFTER checking out, it becomes obvious that the fountain drinks are self-serve. Why ask if it doesn't matter? Just wasting everyone's time & an early indicator of the service I would receive.
The fountain drinks have no ice, are room-temp. & half of them are out. After letting an employee know, she just says "yeah, it's broken, we have someone coming to fix it" & tries to walk away. I stop her & tell her I would like a refund. It takes her 10 min. fiddling with her kiosk before she gives up & says she can't do it & she'll take a picture of the receipt & text her manager to refund it later when she's in. To date, I have yet to receive a refund. Note to the employees, any place that only takes your money & doesn't refund it is a ponzi scheme & not a business, your employment is likely only temporary.
Meanwhile, two families come in & I inform them not to buy drinks, as it's not working. If I hadn't said anything these people would have spent $20 between them on drinks. I ask the employee if she could put up a sign letting people know & she said "ok."
The food was ok for the price. It's not good, just everything else has become very expensive & this is still a 2020 price in a 2025 world. The container the food comes in is absolute crap & will not last longer than a 10 min. drive home. The humidity of the food will degrade the cheap cardboard bottom of the container & your food will collapse through all over you.
I discovered you have to bus your own tables when I got salsa & food remnants all over me from a previous patron. Are we really saving money here & passing value back to the customer or is your business just being cheap & exploitative?
After eating my food, I left ~30 min. after giving up on ever receiving a refund. They had still not put out a sign saying not to order drinks because the soda fountain is broken.
Such bad service & mediocre food that I'm not sure I...
Read moreI heard about Angie's Prime Grill a while back, but there isn't one convenient to me so I hadn't had an opportunity to try them until today. I was in the area and looking for a place to sit and eat, so I checked and saw that they have tables so I headed over. After checking the menu, I decided to splurge and go with the grilled burrito with steak and the berries and cream energy drink. The price difference between the cheapest and most expensive is a huge gap compared to most places. It makes me think that they're actually pricing based on their costs and not just what they want people to pay. The food was amazing. Everything was perfectly cooked, the steak was tender and juicy, the eggs were perfect. The salsa that comes with it was good. It would be nice to have a couple of choices, but if that's what keeps the price down I can live with it. The drink was interesting. The berries and cream flavor was fantastic, but it had a weird citrus tang I didn't expect. After a couple sips my brain connected it to Redbull (it's been a few years since I had one of those so I could be off) and once I had it sort-of-placed I got over the weirdness and really enjoyed the odd flavor combination. It is very well labeled that this drink has 203 mg of caffeine, which is pretty strong if you don't do energy drinks regularly. Hopefully one of these opens near me soon, I don't want to drive that far to give the rest of the menu a shot. I will, but I don't want to. The atmosphere was non-existent. My understanding is that this is the same people who started Salad and Go (great idea there) so I was surprised when I saw they had on-site dining options. It is tables and chairs and nothing else. No music, no decor. It's fine with me, but it's not going to invite anyone in. I don't like eating in my car and this is too far for me to do takeout and go home, so I'll go with the utilitarian setup. The staff member I interacted with was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and in good shape. Definitely...
Read moreToday, they premiered their new USDA prime rib burger and wow!
I ordered the 8oz and I’ll just say that it’s WAY more filling than I expected to be. You can taste the difference between your typical burger from other fast food spots and this burger. I’d say try the 4oz first to gauge because it made it hard to eat fries after being so filled from the burger.
Would like an option to add mayo or mustard but that definitely didn’t take away from the experience. This is definitely a burger you could expect to get at your local bar & grill, without the long wait time.
This is a huge benefit for those who have a short lunch break considering it took a total of 15 minutes from arrival to get food and eat. So if you’re looking for a quick but filling lunch, this marks that box off.
The pricing for the full meal is a deal! Like with their lobster, they do a great job keeping the prices low while providing ALOT for your money.
Overall, this is a great option if you’re craving a great burger at a great price and quick service.
Side note: the staff were very attentive to the customers and were receptive...
