What to Eat in Phoenix - Chick A Dee Hainanese Chicken Rice?

I concur with all the reviews on here. Delish, clean, friendly. But I have to tell you that there is a very clear winner in my household. The Thai wings. 🧑‍🍳 🤌🏽💋. They were sooo flavorful. I definitely wish I would’ve dined in because mix the flavor with a nice crispy skin and it’s a wrap! (I will say that the spice while perfect for me is a medium/hot balance. Do not for those who prefer no spice. But man I can’t stop thinking about them.) I ordered take out and had a 35 min drive back home. I have to tell you that I’m a stickler for “to-go” packaging. It says a lot about a place when they’re to go orders are sloppily put together. Presentation here however was impeccable. I loved that everything was packed neatly in a recyclable brown bag with a cute logo stamp. My toddler tore up some of my chicken and rice along with a couple of pot stickers. I would also mention that Thai is popular for the chicken sauce but I was more impressed with a sweet and sour sauce that came with the pot stickers and used that in place of the Thai sauce. We also tried the sticky rice with mango and black beans which was subtly sweetened by the banana and was like a soft little sweet tamale. We will definitely be back.

Chick-A-Dee 49 W Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85013 Today on my way to the office, I found myself suddenly craving the comforting flavors of chicken soup and crispy fried chicken wings. In that moment, Chick a Dee popped into my head like a beacon of deliciousness. Without hesitation, I placed an order for their tantalizing chicken soup and their signature fried chicken wings. The chicken soup was a burst of flavors, with delightful slices of ginger adding a refreshing twist to each spoonful. As a connoisseur of fried chicken wings, I can wholeheartedly say that Chick a Dee's version exceeded my expectations. Coated with a special blend of magical seasonings, every bite of their fried chicken wings was a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend giving Chick a Dee a visit. Not only do they offer these delectable dishes, but they also serve a mouthwatering Thai Chicken Rice that is sure to please your taste buds. Immerse yourself in the culinary delights they have to offer — you won't be disappointed!

Stopped by Chick-a-Dee Thai on Thomas Rd for lunch and had a really unique and tasty experience.

I ordered the “On Diet” entrée with double chicken, and it came wrapped in parchment paper with a rubber band, which was a first for me! I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what to do with it at first but once I opened it up, I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors were fresh, clean, and super satisfying.

It also came with a small side of broth that added a nice touch, but the highlight for me was their traditional Thai sauce it was amazingly delicious and brought everything together.

If you’re looking for something light but flavorful, and a little different from the typical lunch spot, I’d definitely recommend Chick-a-Dee Thai. I’ll be back to try more of their menu!
