Me and my wife went during lunch hour on February 21 2023 at around 12:30pm. We were there with my brother-n-law and his girlfriend. I ordered the deep dish Ziti and when it arrived to me it was extremely bland. Bland $20 dollars of a dish. Not only was it bland but very small portion size. So I had our waiter substitute the dish for a simple burger. A burger which took 25 min to arrive while the rest of my party finished their meals as I sat patiently. When my burger finally arrived I told the nice lady who brought it to me if she could just have our waiter take the meal off our tab as everyone was ready to go and I had been waiting for 20 plus minutes by now. She did not hesitate to inform our waiter and left me the burger to enjoy. As I proceeded to eat my burger half way though finishing, our waiter returns to our table looking clearly irritated and he said to me in an aggressive tone ā€œwhat’s wrong with the burgerā€. I told him nothing was wrong just the fact that it took 20 min to arrive and everyone had finished their meals. I told him clearly I wasn’t first priority in the kitchen. He asked if I still wanted my burger and I said no but I’m already eating it. During this moment while I am actively eating and still chewing, he proceeds to snatch away the plate while it was directly in front of me whilst still eating. At this point I am still chewing my food with my hands up on awe wondering what in the heck just happened. This guy literally took my plate right from under my nose and left me still chewing my food and even had fries in my hand. I never at one point signaled that he could just take my plate away and even though I didn’t want the burger I was still finishing it. I was extremely humiliated and hurt that this kind of behavior was allowed to happen. I spoke with the manager immediately after and she expressed her concerns and said she would speak with the waiter. As far as this went to have no idea and don’t care as me and my wife and certainly the rest of my party that day will NEVER be returning to this restaurant again. They all witnessed in disgust what this waiter had done and do not tolerate any disrespect especially when all we showed was politeness to the young man. I had done nothing wrong to deserve such rudeness and disrespect and have no idea why our waiter lashed at me the way he did. I guess customer service is just going down the drain these days but that is only an excuse for me to have and not the staff at...

Waitress was amazing, host was amazing EVERY WORKER WAS AMAZING FOOD WAS AMAZING

General manager is not. And he could benefit from learning how to talk to people in a professional, respectful, unsarcasstic manner. My father asked a simple question, ā€œhow do we know which burger is whichā€ because of food intolerances my father CANNOT HAVE A PINK BURGER

General manager replies ā€œcut into it and you can check it yourselfā€

To respond with sarcasm, rudeness, and attitude was extremely distasteful and unexpected in a BJs restaurant. We were in a business lunch and to the GM try and be sarcastic and BELITTLE when Emmy father asked a simple question and wouldn’t leave when I told him over and over and over again

ā€œWeā€˜ll cut the burger open and check for ourselves. Thank you sirā€ I had to step outside because this made me so upset because I HAVE TO BE PROFESSIONAL then so should a GM. Just because you run a business don’t mean you own the business, take a ā€œlearning how to talk to peopleā€ class and learn some customer service. Cause I tell ya, we were the only brown people in North Phoenix on Tatumn and I didn’t see not one other customer be talked to or treated like that. Have some respect and human decency and learn when to ā€œjokeā€, if you want to call that a joke, and take a customer service course for dummies book because clearly this establishment needs a general manager to understand the BASICS and simplicity of customer service. Coming from a waitress who used to be 16 and was able to move up in the industry DUE to having good customer service so that is a VERY obtainable thing. Thank you. P.S hickory brisket burger was fantastic I ordered medium well but got a burnt burger but it was still delicious. Thank you to the amazing host and amazing waitress for making this an enjoyable experience because without them this would have been a disaster, and, if he can talk to us customers like that I can’t imagine how he talks to BJs most valued employees and servers and chefs and cooks. What a way to run a business guy. Nice to see we have a safe space for all individuals and I hope you know...

UPDATE: pretty sad response but what did I expect? Went there to pick up take out grabbed food for me and my family got there a little early so had to wait I didn’t mind that I prefer hot food. Got the food waited to check to make sure everything was there because BJs usually gets it right but not this time the French dip is $19.99 on bjs app. $22.99 on uber eats most expensive French dip in the valley. They didn’t add the cheese that I paid xtra for they left out my sides. When I drove back to the store I was obviously upset they offered to remake it and a manager came out and gave me a gift card. It’s not about the money it’s about the inconvenience. They said they remade it but all they did is put the sandwich in the microwave with a little cheese on top. And it tasted like it. So if there’s something wrong with your meal don’t expect them to make a new one they will just do whatever they have to so they don’t have to throw that away. Other reviews have stated as well. That being said I had to eat my microwaved $22.00 French dip while my family had cold food because I was waiting for them to remake the sandwich but was never remade just reheated ruined my day. Blonde hair lady manager chose to give me the same sandwich instead of replacing it should get some training as well as the entitled Togo staff that thinks it’s funny when people complain about service especially about them. It’s your service that’s laughable. I go there all the time for deliveries it’s a shame to realize that they are treating my customers like this as well. I guess if I do go there for deliveries in the future I’m going to have to be more cautious and check every delivery since the employees at BJs can’t do there job. One other thing do we tip fast food restaurants to pack up our Togo food no. I get Togo food to avoid tipping I shouldn’t be strong armed into tipping for a Togo order and service should not be withheld because I didn’t tip enough. If it is being withheld because of tips that’s an issue that owners need to address. Maybe pay more to people who pack the...

Haven't been to BJ's in awhile but because we were in the area, we stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. We sat in the bar area and the waiter we had was fantastic! He was on the money, answered all our questions, gave my husband some samples of the different beers so he could choose one he really liked and he chose the prickly pear lemonade craft beer, so so good!..he had other guests to tend to but never once did he not come by and check on us, never did our drinks go empty and that is rare these days, he is an asset to their establishment for sure. My hubby and I really wanted to try for a pazookie so we opted to share a meal and we got the chicken club sandwich, which was good but not great. If it was not so drenched in mayonnaise, it would have been better, but as soon as you bit into it, everything went sliding around and falling out and honestly, I hate mayo but my hubby likes it and he even said that was overkill. The sandwich had good flavor but for me it was ruined and oh so messy. Each bite I had to wipe so much mayo from my hands and my napkin was gross. It would have been better having no mayo and letting us add some as needed. Every restaurant I have ever gone to and had a club, its on the drier side but this one was on the messy messy side and I just couldn't like it, wasted my money on it, so that's a no go for me again, unless I tell them no mayo. We also ordered the wings and they were sooooo good with a light crisp to it, they are a must do again....AND the STAR of the meal, was the strawberry shortcake pazookie!!! It was love at first bite. My husband was loving every bite of that and when he made the comment that this dessert was worth taking a metformin pill for (a diabetic pill) I almost choked on the bite I had just taken, I was laughing so hard. We rarely get dessert anywhere but it looked so good on the menu so we kind of had to, lol. Anyways, it was a great experience, with the exception of the sandwich and we will be back.

Urgent care center for your thirst. Haven't been here in a while, but used to go more frequently. Decent solid beers. Nothing too adventurous, but now featuring more guest beers as well. Home grown choices include decent traditional IPAs, and seasonal featured two different fruit IPAs, and an imperial wheat, which were all solid choices, but nothing off of the beaten path. Their stouts are also nice, and mix well with cider, or Lambics (Belgian fruit beers.) Pizza is pretty decent, but go on Monday, when it is half off. Happy hour is decent, but beware the late night one isn't available on Friday and Saturday, which explained why it was nearly empty when we went during that time. I am sure it would get more takers with movie theater nearby if they offered it then, and didn't close so early most of the week. As it is In-N-Out is the only option for a bite after the later movies, and it always does solid business, which this place could use. Menu is very large, but not exactly cheap for brew pub, so being on the email list for coupons and specials is definitely recommended if you going to come here more often. When we went near closing there weren't many guests, so our service was pretty good, and quick, but not sure how it might be when they are busy.
