The food at Carl's Jr seems to be really top notche, albeit a little pricey for this area. The only thing I can say in the form of a complaint is the store or the corporate policy concerning the homeless particularly during the very warm months, and not allowing them to come in to get a free water: or anybody for that matter. Temperature easily exceeds 110°F during the summer time, and there's no way for people who are thirsty to get water unless they are able to purchase it. They don't even allow you to bring your own water container in for refreshment. I have made the recommendation to corporate that what they should do they should have a water bucket filled with ice and water that they can have outside of the store secured of course so that people can get water in that way the homeless, or anybody else, doesn't have to come in the store and be a bother. This could also show good support of our community for anybody who wants to just have some water weather, it's a paying customer or not: the goodwill that would be established/ would have a long reaching effect in the community they serve . The reasons I was given for this policy (by the Gm of this location), is because people who are going for water actually take soda instead of water and that's why I came up with the solution of having the water cooler placed in a secure location outside. This would only need to be during the heat of the day. The other reason I was given is because many of the homeless an indigent are panhandling while they're inside the store. This of course is a separate issue and they do have the right to ask people to leave if they are not making a purchase, and they're just asking people for money. I hope that the management from top down has a change of heart with this policy because it really hurts me to see people who are disadvantaged treated so poorly in...
Read moreAweful, went to try the new beer bacon burger. The location has lost its pride. The people in the black shirts were managers. Well I walked in and was the only customer in the restaurant and the manager was rude, just standing around pushing people to work faster when there were only 4 people working for dinner time, she could've stepped up to help instead of yelling at everyone to do their job. So I get the burger and the lettuce had to be taken off it tasted like mop water, the bun was thinner than my napkins and the girl didn't even get my order right. She forgot my fries and milkshake and sauce. So I get over my urge to complain to her and walk out and decide to try and enjoy, after all i was starving. I had to use the restroom. I walked in and there are fecal matter on the floor and on the toilet seat. Someone was in the other stall so I was forced to use a toilet seat cover to whipe the poop off the toilet. I lined three times and also had to wipe my butt with toilet seat covers. Just so disgusting, unsanitary, unkept, and its obvious someone threw up in there. There was also no soap to was my hands with. At this point I thought it would've been better if just took a squat outside. I go an sit down and I get asked to buy a panhandler some food and money. He asked everyone sitting around me, it was very hard to just sit and eat my food in peace. He didn't have shoes on, he smelled so bad, he stole all the condiments from the stand and actually saw him dig in the trash for someone's left overs right after the customer threw it away. This was inside the restaurant! So disturbing! I am so appalled by tonight's service I'll never go back, and never recommend this huge trash can of a restaurant. Absolutely disgusting. I didn't complain to the manager because she seemed careless of what was going on and wouldn't have made...
Read moreI usually love eating here! I don't treat myself like this very often. On a low, fixed income, eating out at all is expensive. So I condsider this a treat! The burgers, etc, are delicious and well worth the money. I just can't go there often. I'm not sure exactly why my experience didn't seem quite what it usually is. I've been there alone, before. No one was rude or otherwise inappropriate. It just didn't feel as welcoming or friendly as I remembered. So, it was probably me. I was initially pleased to be there, but when my food came, I began to feel uncomfortable. I had asked for my bacon on the side, and it was on the sandwich. I wasn't happy about that. But, since it was crisp enough, I wasn't upset. I still pulled it off, because I have difficulty chewing, I can't eat a sandwich and bacon together, unless it's a bacon sandwich! Because the sandwiches are so big,(worth the money) I have to cut them up to eat them. But by the time I accomplished that, I'd lost a lot of interest in eating it. Most of the guacamole came off with the bacon, so there wasn't enough through the rest. It all just became an unmanageable mess, so I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected to. I decided that next time I'll...
