Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Phoenix

I remember the first time I had Chipotle. Wow it really is something that gets imprinted on your brain. At the one near U of A in Tucson. My have times changed.

Why does the meat taste so nasty now? That is my main complaint with Chipotle. It has this weird chemical aftertaste that I don't get when I make meat.

Why does the hot red sauce look all watered down now and not bright red?

Why does the green sauce look like swamp thing now?

Why do they charge you for extra shells and tortillas now?

Why is it always full in the evening? Are people so full of chemicals that their bodies crave the not even giant burrito chemicals in their gullets?

Remember when you got a bag of chips from Chipotle and it was heavier than normal and how happy you got for those extra chips? Now they sell a large bag for 3 bucks because who needs that special feeling of joy when you get a loaded bag of chips anymore. Joy is dead at Chipotle.

Ever since that adult swim themed event Chipotle had a few years ago, it has gone downhill for me in terms of quality but up in prices.

The WORST experience I’ve ever had with Chipotle’s mobile ordering system and was extremely disappointed with the Chipotlane, even though the concept and name is so good! Pick up was scheduled for 10:50AM through Chipotlane. Arrived at 10:50AM and waited nearly 10 minutes in the Chipotlane before anyone even came to the window and then was informed that the order had not yet been started. In total, waited nearly 30 minutes!!! past the scheduled pickup time of 10:50AM and arrived extremely late back to work since it was in the middle of a work day. ☹️ What is the point of taking time to use the app to plan ahead and ordering online for a scheduled pickup?? If I hadn’t already paid for the order online, I would have just gone inside and just ordered my bowl on the spot. It was extremely frustrating to see so many customers arrive at the store without online orders and leave with their food as I waited for my online order to be ready. It was a really horrible...

We've been ordering from this Chipotle for some time. The majority of the time it is a good experience. My wife and I just ordered it to be delivered, and not one aspect of it was good. It showed up late to start. Also, both of our food was cold as if it had been sitting for a while. Also, after counting, each of my tacos had 5/6/4 pieces of steak in them. Also, the salsa tasted bad and was very watery making the tacos moist and unappealing. Also, my wife's burrito was less than half the size that we are usually served. It looked like a bean and cheese burrito from del taco. We didn't pay to get a burrito or tacos off the dollar menu, it was 8-10 dollars for each of ours. This Chipotle has been our go to place when we couldn't agree where to go for dinner. It looks like we will never be making that mistake again.
