I come here a couple times of month, always great food (cooked to my specifics, and I AM picky when I order) and the server is always friendly.
Usually, I don't post reviews; BUT - I noticed that there is a post with a very bad review. I was here one time, about a month ago, around 2:45 am, and there was a group of 6 (3 couples?) who had been out all night.
For the most part, the group wasn't too bad. But one of them treated the server very rudely (I was disappointed that no one, in the group, asked her to be quiet!).
I sure couldn't say anything! As a male bystander, to a woman who is getting more vocal (and, dare I say, belligerent?) with each sentence? I think not!! --And, with not one of the others in the group holding her accountable for her words, much less, her behavior? Again, No!
The trouble started because one of the women repeatedly asked for something that wasn't on the menu. With each food request change - she wanted the server to check with the cook to see if THAT could be made.
Well, by the time this happened 2 or 3 times, the rest of the group (and especially the person who posted the complaint) were frustrated that 'their coffee was cold', 'why hasn't MY order been turned in', WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG TO GET OUR FOOD?'
Now, 'the poster of the bad review' is asking where the manager is (at 3:00 am, really?!) because she wants to complain. And, because of her words and attitude, the server is rattled, I'm frustrated, and the rest of her group is looking sheepish.
But again, they do NOT say anything to her; they are apologizing (on the side) to the server, for her behavior!!! The server even gave them a discount for their meal.
Again, I think that this restaurant has great food and I (usually) enjoy my breakfast here! I guess it IS my fault; I mean who is up at 3:00 am on a Saturday morning - besides me on my way to work?
Well, if you have read this epistle, in its entirety - you have more patience than I did...

For starters the seats for the booths are sunken in in the middle causing you to sit lopsided and sink in towards the center especially when sitting next to someone. The worst part was when we finally received our breakfast. They brought one plate of food that I was sharing with my son. We ordered pancakes. They made them with chocolate chips which we didn't order but weren't going to complain. It's not that big of a deal but slightly annoying. The server said they'd bring out the rest of the food in a second. Well 10 minutes later we still hadn't received any more food. I wasn't going to start eating while my other 2 kids didn't have their food. So our good was getting cold. Fantastic. When the server brought another plate of food after those 10 minutes, it was for my son who wanted chocolate chips in his pancakes... Well, there weren't any. Again, not a huge deal but things were starting to stack up at this point. My daughter still didn't have her food and the server had told me that something happened and now they are just starting to make her food. So at this point I've had my food for about 15 minutes, which was made incorrectly, my son had his food which was made incorrectly and my daughter still had yet to receive her food. We made the decision then to just leave and never go back. The server was very nice and was clearly frustrated with the kitchen and I totally felt for him. But I couldn't justify staying to pay for a meal that wasn't right in any way. And had still not received my daughter's food after 15 minutes of the first plate of food being brought to us. Awful experience and will never step...
ย ย ย Read moreI just can't say enough about Country Boy's Restaurant. We have a couple places wehre we frequent for go for breakfast every weekend, but since we are in PV, they are a little bit far from us. I was in bed one morning craving biscuits and gravy and I found Country Boys less than a few miles away. We got in the car and off we were headed! Now, Country boys is a very modest looking building. At one point may have been a fast food place, and the decor is.. well, it's quaint, let's just say that. But this is really part of the appeal and the charm! The service is so prompt, we've never had to wait! All of the ladies here take excellent pride in their work and make sure you are given the best of the best when it comes to service. It's truly like they are welcoming family in. Now lets talk about the good stuff. I will admit I have not ordered off their regular menu, however when they have $2.99 breakfast specials, who needs to? My go to is breakfast special C- 2 eggs (any way) sausage, bacon, or patties (your choice) and a side (they have about 20 sides, but I stick to either hash browns or i upgrade to biscuits and gravy for $.50 more). You got it folks, a $3.49 complete breakfast. We are now regulars of Country Boys and every visit is just as great as our first one. The best part is Country Boys is open 24 hours a day and serves breakfast around the clock!
Updated 11/21/2015- country boys had a significant price increase and change to their breakfast specials. Since we moved to the east valley we would still make the journey here for their amazingly prices breakfast but this price increase is quite substantial. I don't think we'll be...
