Deluxburger Express — Restaurant in Phoenix

I don’t usually write reviews, but the service I received at the Delux Burger in the PHX airport was exceptionally horrible. I was never greeted when I walked up to the counter. That should’ve been the first sign not to spend my money there. In any case, I used the self-order station to order fries. When my fries were put on the counter to be bagged, they fell over. Instead of tossing them and getting fresh fries, the worker proceeds to scoop them up in his hand and stuff them back in the carton. The girl at the counter then proceeds to give me those smashed up, dirty fries. Apparently, they didn’t know I was watching. When I ask the girl for another thing of fries because they spilled out, she seemed like she an attitude lol. Like how ridiculous can you be to think anybody would want those. And how hard is it to just get another carton of fresh fries?? I should’ve just gotten my money back because I don’t even know if she exchanged them, or just brought back those same fries. I seriously urged the manager at this location to look into hiring new employees because the ones I encountered were just outright...

Complete and utter disappointment. Not worth it for the money. They claim the burgers are Angus beef patty but looks and tastes like a frozen burger patty. 18.99 for a bacon cheeseburger with american cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. “Got my burger with all the fixings and they still didn’t put on the onions or pickles. The bun was not brioche like the claim.” 16.99 for a classic cheeseburger with american cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. “They couldn’t get the burger put together the way we wanted it.” 5.49 for a half of a medium fry. 3.79 for a Fountain drink or a bottle.

The place didn’t even have a combo to make the meal outrageous prices.

They also had chips up front by the register and told me they were 4-5 dollars for a bag of chips that were no different than you could get from Subway for no more than a 1.75.

When they gave us our food they didn’t have a tray and they didn’t put it in a bag.

If I could give a zero rating, I would. I will never...

TLDR: NOT FAST & Expensive.

Estimated time was 15-20 minutes for 2 burgers and one order of fries with only 2 orders ahead of us. Got our two burgers (20 bucks each) after 25 minutes but were told they had not even dropped our fries in the fryer. We said that is fine we don't need fries as our flight was final boarding. Another clerk came up and said they DID have our fries ready. I said okay then we will take them. She replied that we already told her we did not want them. I said if they are ready we will take them. She just stood there looking at me and I asked her why she is standing here and not bagging my fries. She walked to the back out of sight. They didn't even bag our burgers in one of the hundreds of bags they had ready to use. The cook in the back needs a lesson from SpongeBob. He doesn't start cooking the patties for one order until he has already sent out the previous order....
