Not giving this establishment 1 star because their food wasn't good. I am giving them 1 star because of how blatantly rude the owner of this establishment was! This was my first time here, I was invited to meet here for a co-worker's surprise baby shower. There was some communication about our party of 10 being there for this event pervious days and the morning of. When we arrived and got our table. My coworker who set all of this up brought cupcakes and a simple table cloth. There was 7 of the 10 of us there waiting for the guest of honor. Not even sitting at our table for 10 minutes the owner comes up to my coworker and basically bashes her for bringing cupcakes and the baby shower table cloth. I do not understand the reasons for his delivery of how rude and aggressive he was. Remember this is my first time being here and he made me feel so uncomfortable I didn't even want to order at that point. What he has said in an unprofessional manner was that we were taking all the tables and that we needed to give up the tables....(that his staff put together for us) and how we have been sitting there for 15 minutes and had not ordered anything and he has customers waiting outside & due to COVID no outside food is allowed... ok all valid concerns as a business owner I get it. We are all Healthcare workers in his establishment who first and foremost understand the precautions. My issue is how rude, disrespectful, & unprofessional his...

Set my expectations too high for this one. We are local and see the long lines for this place. $40 for a dirty chai w/oat milk, and two breakfast plates. Got the chilaquiles and veggie scramble.

Chilaquiles were soggy and pretty mid. Veggie scramble was flavorless and the bread was only toasted on one side. But I don’t give a 1 star for mid food. But the service from the espresso bar was so disrespectful.

Firstly they gave us a latte which was never ordered. I politely asked that they take back the latte and bring a dirty chai. They did but forgot the oatmilk and made it with whole. Asked for a remake because I can’t drink whole milk due to an allergy. Then they brought back a chai with no shots. Me and my partner both tried it, the shots were missing and they weren’t written on the side either. I went up to the espresso bar and asked if they could just drop two shots in. She was nice about it but the other barista made a very loud comment to the one helping me saying “I know I put those two shots in there” making sure I heard it. Not sure why you have to be so rude. Even if I was wrong and there were two shots in the chai, why do you have to be disrespectful about it? Is it really worth treating someone rudely over 2 shots of espresso? Anyway, won’t be returning. Maybe if the food was actually good, I would since it’s right across the street from...

Nice quaint farm style decor. You walk-in and they have a big menu to choose from. So you order and pay, then sit down and they bring your order to you. They have big window wall so very nice to have on a March late morning, especially as it gets louder and busier in the cafe. So it feels a little indoors/outdoors feel. They also have seating fully outdoors. Menu is mixture of French and mexican- Quiche, chilaquiles, tacos, avocado toast, sandwiches. We visited for late breakfast and had a delicious Daily Quiche which was Gruyere cheese mushroom and spinach. It comes with mixed greens which complimented the quiche very well. I enjoyed very much. He had the "Dos" which was 2 eggs any way you want and 2 bacon and delicious house potatoes which are seasoned with rosemary. We shared a Frenchie french toast which was served with fruit and syrup. It was delish! The coffee was very good, it was serve- yourself station in cool metal ceramic cup they give you upon ordering. The orange juice tastes fresh squeezed and worth it. To end our meal, we had a Mimosa and Red Berry Sangria. Sangria was stand out delicious, very berry fruity, I wish I had another one! Mimosa stands out with fresh squeezed flavor. Service was good. We spent about $49, without the 2 drinks at end. It is more than I like to pay, but it's nice to go have different...

The food and vibe here are great. Anytime you walk into a restaurant and they have Chef's Table on auto-play you know you're in a good spot (also note the quality of cookbooks on display. If Escoffier is proudly displayed, you hope they take their food somewhat seriously). You order at the counter, which is located too close to the doors leading to a wall of people blocking the entrance. The menu is fairly expansive, but pretty reasonably priced. We got the breakfast tacos, which were ok, and the croque Madame. The tacos came out but the croque did not. We waited and waited and finally after 10 minutes it came out... And boy was it worth the wait! The sandwich itself was perfectly toasted, the bechemel wasn't overwhelming, and the egg was perfect. But the most perfect part of the sandwich was the crusty cheese on top, perfectly caramelized under the broiler. With food this delicious, the wait didn't even matter, and I would've still given this place five stars even if the manager hadn't offered us some chocolate chip pancakes. I can't wait to go back here and will dream of the croque Madame for many days to come.

You know it’s gonna be good when there’s a line up outside - in the rain! - waiting to get in. I’d taken a quick look at the website menu and immediately knew I’d love it. Sure enough, before we’d even ordered and sat inside, I was loving the decor and the overall vibe of the place. The decor inside is farm rustic and simple, and I especially loved the used egg cartons on the ceiling for decor and noise softening. I was surprised it wasn’t busier - a place like this would be PACKED back home in Vancouver BC - but don’t let that be a sign of anything either. Vanilla oat milk latte started me off right, and then my food came! I ordered the *Dos with an extra egg, toast, and I picked the chicken sausage as my meat. The rosemary potatoes were cooked perfectly and nicely crispy; the eggs were good - I’d ordered poached medium and they came out poached hard, but I wasn’t mad at it - and the fresh sourdough toast was crispy and sour and yummy! The chicken sausage was tasty and not too dry, with just a hint-kick of spice. Overall, I loved it all and I’d definitely go back next time I’m in town!
