I usually love Filiberto's and tend to eat it once or twice a week, as they have tons of convenient locations all over the valley. However, this location is one that I will be staying away from for good. My food was cold, which was not a big deal. I approached the front desk person and advised that my food was cold, if they can please warm it up. She rolls her eyes at me and says that it's not cold, that they put it on the griddle. I'm literally touching my food in front of her and letting her know its COLD. She has a look at disgust and attitude on her face and with zero acknowledgement, turns around to tell the cook what's happening. No customer service skills! No - " I'm sorry to hear that, I'll take care of it". Received nothing but attitude because I had the audacity to want my food to be warmed up. Mind you, I had already touched my food with my hands and had taken a bite. They take my food and throw it back on the griddle where they are cooking other customers food. As a restaurant owner my self, this is a big NO-NO. You cant mix, possible customer-contaminated food that has been in customers hands/fingers/mouth with other customers food. Upon receiving my food back, I make my way over to my table and she has the audacity to say in a rude voice - You're' welcome! No way in hell was I going to thank her for her horrible attitude and poor customer service skills . Through out my visit, I saw her give out the key to the public restroom several times, handle money, give out food, use her phone, head back into kitchen with no mask, touch kitchen equipment and never once did she wash her hands, nor did she have gloves on. Food was okay, I simply would not recommend this location due to customer service, quality of food and cross contamination concerns from front staff. There was another lady, who I approached and advised of my experience, she wasn't rude but appeared appeared annoyed that I had something against her co worker. I was never rude and never raised my voice. I hope management takes this opportunity to implement some serious customer service training on how to handle customers and cross contamination procedures for cashiers. I highly recommend the Filiberto's located on Washington/Priest or the 24st/Baseline locations. Great salsa, great food, and great...
Read moreTried to get some food before working my overnight shift. they messed up my whole order even after repeating it back to me and I only wanted a refund for one of the 3 items because I was physically unable to eat it without it coming back up. I ate quarter of the carne asada fries and then noticed that there guacamole in under the cheese and stuff on the opposite side. I can’t eat avocado in any form I even avoid the oil just in case. So I called the place and told them about what happened. They said bring your recipe and the food to get a refund. Since work was light my boss let me go back to filbertos to get my money. I get there with the food and receipt and get denied my refund because they said part of it was eaten. I said fine forget the refund could I just replace that with a taco or 2 so I can finish eating something because 1am there’s nothing else open serving hot food. They talk and then tell they can’t do anything about it. Smdh. I told them to keep the fries because I couldn’t even scrap off the amount of guac that was on them without having a upset stomach. Took my L but I never go back there and I’m going to let people I know not to go there either. This is like the 5 time it has happened at this location and it’s first time I ever went back to fix it. I don’t care about the money I’m just pissed about time I wasted driving their expecting to eat some carne asada to end up eating a gas station sandwich and Doritos. Just a...
Read moreI used to love filibertos, however after my last experience left me sick and scarred, honestly considering calling the health department because if i got sick then there had to be other people that got sick too and thats not okay. i am almost embarrased to even put this allegation out there but after much diliberation i feel that they need to be called out so no one else has to go through what me and my fiance have gone through over the last month. I got food poisoning after eating here, couldn't finish my burrito before noticing some weird brown goo that had little worms in my bacon breakfast burrito that , after closer inspection were moving you can see a black one in this photo. I had what I can only describe as extreme food poisoning for what seemed like a week with other symptoms that I still have. I went to two different urgent cares and have proof that that filibertos gave me worms which I have unfortunately passed on to my dog and my fiance also got them because she ate there as well. Honestly I am contemplating going to the News because if it had happened to Me it has to of happened to someone else as well. this experienced has ruined my love for filibertos and I'll never eat there again. it is a health risk at...
