NASHVILLE HOT TENDERS ARE BACK, BUT DONT TRY THIS LOCATION!!!!
When i heard Nashville hot tenders were back at KFC, i ran to the nearest kfc location which unfortunately is this location. I went through the drive thru and ordered 2 Nashville hot combos and 2 Nashville hot loaded fries bowls. I get to the window and had to repeat my order to two different people. The third person asked me what drinks I asked for and I had told her "pepsi zero sugar". She asked me to park in the front because they needed to change out the syrup. 15 minutes later, my order was brought out to me. As I look in the bag, I see what I thought was the correct order and noted the temperature of the food was probably inappropriate for them to be handing out, but I didn't want to complain as I was just going home and there's a microwave there to be utilized in this situation. Upon arriving home, I unpack our food to see that the order was in fact, Incorrect and the chicken was cold and looked really shriveled up. I looked in the bag and realized they never even gave me a receipt. So I called this location and spoke to someone who called themselves Laura. Laura was very kind on the phone and offered everything to make it better but I only requested the missing Nashville hot sauce, to which Laura told me "yes, just come back and we will get you the Nashville hot sauce and we will offer you an additional side to make up for the inconvenience". At my second visit to this drive thru, I explained the situation at the window and I was met with a guy with the most clueless look on his face. I gave him the whole spiel a second time and ended up just asking to speak with "Laura" but nobody has heard of her. Some rude lady with glasses then came to the window and handed me an individual sized container that was filled about ¼ of the way with some Nashville hot sauce. When I arrived home, I immediately looked at reviews of this place and after reading the real reviews, i didn't feel comfortable feeding any of this...
Read moreLaura is a decent manager she made things right. i'd give her 5 stars and she is the reason my review isn't a 1 star. they forgot my sauces, i had to drive back to get them or else eat dry chicken tenders. also i ordered Large Mac n Cheese, it was the smallest portion of Large mac n cheese i've ever received from a KFC by a pretty big margin. i could see the bottom of the container on the side of the mac.. it didn't even fill the whole bottom of the container and none of it was touching the lid. normally it's filled to the point the lid is mushing the mac n cheese down, but not my skimpy size "Large" Portion. would've gotten more from 2 small sizes! crazy. the Mashed potato container was also under-filled not as extreme as the mac but still bad. this time i knew to go inside and pick up rather than drive thru because when you order on the app they pour the drinks like 5 minutes before they make your food so by the time you get the drink it's been sitting in the cup for 10 minutes and is basically flat and noticeably watered down. so be sure to go inside and dump it and get a new drink, just another step you must do to eat fast food. i wasn't vigilant enough in my bag inspection and i got home before i realized i had no sauce, so i got nice and hangry while i seethed driving back to the KFC. i was just gonna ask for my sauces and complain and hope they said sorry at least and the young kid at the counter obviously didn't care (i don't blame him too much i've worked customer service, and wasn't always the best with customers myself). thankfully Laura overheard the situation and offered to make it right, she gave me 3 tenders that were fresh, juicy. also mashed potato and biscuit. I didn't mention the underfilled Mac and she offered another drink too but i just wanted to get out of there. side-note the place was empty. 1 customer inside 1 car in the drive thru. it was clean, well-lit, the soda fountain was...
Read moreI keep telling myself I am never coming back to this place. Over the past few years, the quality of the food and the customer service have really gone downhill. I've had the occasional bad experience at other fast-food places, which I usually just shrug off, but this place is consistently bad. The workers and management just don't seem to care about the customers. They are unfriendly and move at a snail's pace. And don't tell me they are slow because they are understaffed and overworked. They are not overworked because this place is never busy. More often than not I am the only car in line.
One time I was told to park and wait for my fries to be made. I sat in my car for fifteen minutes watching the kitchen staff goof off in the parking lot before they went back inside, and even then I did not get my fries until I went through the drive-thru again and reminded them I was still waiting for my order. It turned out they had completely forgotten about it.
Today I thought I'd stop by to get a chicken breast. Just one chicken breast. I placed the order and heard a long, drawn-out "Um..." from the speaker. I thought she was going to tell me they were out of chicken breasts, because being out of items happens a lot at this restaurant, but finally she said, "Okay." I drove up to the window, paid, and received my food. I drove away still wondering what that long "Um" was about. When I got home and opened the box, I found out why. She had given me a chicken thigh instead of a breast, even though I had paid for a breast. And she had clearly known it.
Anyways, that's my story about this place. I am not mad or even that bothered about my experiences here. Life is too short to let such things get to you. I usually vote with my feet rather than complain. But the service here is just so consistently bad I felt the need to warn...
