I normay an very polite and understanding about food service being I do work in the food industry. And every customer of mine who has cold food or takes an extremely long time to prepare for what ever reason gets fresh food if its cold and a refund and/or store credit. I ordered my pizza around 7:30 pm and received my order about 9:55. I called around 9:15 explained that the order was taking longer then expected and the lady on the phone explained that their was only 1 delivery driver. And said it shouldn't be longer then 10minutes Im literally 5 minutes away. When the driver called he kept shouting Jesus Christ every other time he had the chance to speak as I attempted to give instructions to my apartment he exclaimed Jesus Christ why did you order so much damn food. I then had to go down and meet him at his car on the other side of the apartments and get my food. I explained the food is cold and its 2 hours late. He said im so sorry I dont understand I offered to have my husband translate it and he just kept saying you need to pay me Jesus Christ. I told him I paid online ill take the food and speak with the manager. I called to explain the situation with the manager who was extremely rude telling me to shut up and quit talking to him in the manner I was. I told him so you and your staff can speak to me any way you wish but I cannot express how I feel? I would like a refund for my cold food and 2 hour wait on a delivery a quarter of a mile a way. He then stated that he cannot issue me a refund because I accepted the pizza I said I had no choice I paid for it and had hungry kids to feed. He said ill give you store credit with a complintary dessert or beverage. I said of just like the complintary ranch dressing you driver gave me that came with the wings. Have a food night I will be speaking with a GM about a refund if he refuses as well (a friend of mine manages a pizza hut and she says they have to refund if you request it and there is grounds to refund) I will call corporate with all the names of the employees I delt with and I will have my bank despute the charge. I expected this from a hole in the wall pizza joint but...

The store: I don't normally order pizza but I haven't had some in a while so I gave this a shot and I was also starving. Delivery was fast, except my food was never delivered. Since they don't leave a picture of where the food is delivered, like other food delivery apps, you just gotta believe them when they say they did, even though I had nothing. I tried calling the store immediately thinking maybe they could get a hold of the driver. Good luck doing that! I literally called the store 10+ times and no one picked up. This was early evening, not super late at night (not that it would matter if they're open anyway but still). I work customer service and I understand that maybe if a store is understaffed and busy, the phone will be the least of your worries. But at one point, you gotta pick it up! And how can the driver waltz back in saying they did a successful delivery when they know the didn't? I checked with my neighbor the next day just in case they saw something (I have Ring cameras that detected no movements anyway) and they said that had also happened to the once before with the same store. How are they open for business still?!
The franchise: Because the store wasn't picking up or was screening my calls (God forbid they take client calls), I went to Pizza Hut chat; it was the fastest way to contact someone, anyone! The lady was nice and took my information, order number, etc. But at the end, she told me someone would get a hold of me in about 3 days max. I told her I was hungry right now and I was craving that food today, not in 3 days. But she kept hitting me with what sounded like pre-favricated answers for people like me. Not her fault, I guess. But still frustrating considering other food apps will try and make it right ASAP by either contacting the business, the driver, reordering the food or giving you a full refund. So you actually eat that day and not in 3 days.
Overall, I'd recommend going somewhere else if you're craving pizza or whatever else they sell. The service is not worth it, give your money to people and stores that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had not been to this Pizza Hut in quite a while. I normally would get takeout. While today around 4:17 PM I decided to go ahead and go in as I was heading home. When I walked in, I was not greeted and finally a gal came out from the back, and I said do you have table service and she just stared at me and I said do you have table service and then she looked to the other side and then a guy came out and he said can I help you and I said do you have table service he said yes I go. Did she not understand what I asked her? I said I heard her speaking English. So to make a long story short , I went ahead and started walking to get a table after a table after another the first five tables were filthy, and I told the guy do you have a rag to clean these tables. The six table was clean, so I sat down. I watched him go to each table and wipe the table with his hand! I was pretty damn shocked! And then he came to me and I asked him do you have happy hour? Iāve seen that advertise before he said it ends at 1 oāclock I said happy hour ends at one? He said let me check as I sat there two other customers came in. He helped them as I sat and sat and waited. He finally came to me and he said well I can give you half price and appetizers. I just looked at him and I said never mind and I got up and left. It was pretty disgusting! I was so happy to see that they had rebuilt It , and it looked like a nice Pizza Hut. But after watching this guy, wipe the tables with his hand, shame on him! Now I wonder when I would pick up my pizzas in the drive-through what the hell they were doing! Never again while I go to...
