Called again manager Liz said I need to come into the store for her to refund my money. I told her I wanted the other managers name since she had barely got there and was not the woman that I dealt with. She refused to give it to me after I asked her several times, then passed the phone to somebody by the name of Zack, who also refused to give me the other manager’s name Stating we don’t give out each other‘s information. When you are a manager, you are accountable for your employees but he did give me the HR number when I asked for the corporate office number. Either way I left a message for human resources to have someone call me back on Monday to see if they can rectify the situation…
Start this off by saying I don’t like to leave bad reviews but after wasting the last 30 minutes of my day here I have to. I placed a mobile order for a steak and egg McMuffin when I arrived I was told my order wasn’t ready yet for me to park in the space in front no problem. The young man that brought my food out was friendly handed me my order no problem. I always check my orders before I leave so as I open my sandwich, I realize There is no egg on my steak egg McMuffin. It is steak and ham still no problem. Take it inside to have it corrected the older, gray haired woman. Comes up to the nice young man that is helping me after ignoring his first attempt to talk to her to see what the issue is. She demands my receipt. I proceeded to tell her it was a mobile order. I do not have a physical receipt. I showed her my sandwich and ask her to please just give me a round egg and I will put it on myself to not have multiple hands touching my Sandwich which she replies, we have to make the sandwich again.
She goes to explain to them what they did wrong supposedly watches them make my sandwich again comes back, hand it to me with a sorry about that Halfway apology. I tell her no problem as I understand mistakes happen I proceed to get in my car but before Lot I decide to eat my sandwich as I am now running late I open the wrapper An instead of a round egg, they put a folded egg in my sandwich. I turned back around to get to the restaurant I go back inside. same nice young man helps me and tells me we have to wait for the older, gray haired woman the manager I explained to her again they put the wrong egg on my sandwich. She tells me to give her the sandwich and they’ll remake it again. I tell her at this point no just give me a round egg. I don’t have any more time to waste. She brings me around egg in a box and put it on the counter. I then proceed to tell her my frappe is now melted. The rest of my food is now cold. I want a refund for my sandwich. She again tells me I need your receipt. I once again explain it to her. It was a mobile order! She tells me I need to initiate a refund request on the mobile app. When I get to my office, I log into the app to request a refund and it says for refunds call or go to the restaurant the order was fulfilled through.
I have called at least 10 times this morning the phone rings and then the line goes dead after ringing at least 10 times no way to leave a message.
Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry and need things done right You will waste your time and leave frustrated I did not Yell or use profanity, scream Or make a scene because I am an adult and I know better than that. I understand everyone has off days she should have offered me the refund right then in there for them messing up twice All of the young men that were working there that I encountered were polite and friendly. The girl that messed up the sandwich both times seemed nervous like she must be new which mistakes happen, but the manager stood, have stood by her side when she remade my sandwich To ensure it was done properly.
I will have to waste more of my time in the afternoon after work to go back and try to...
Read moreOn 06.10 during breakfast time, June 10 I placed an UberEats order and one of my items was missing. Since it would’ve cost me another $15 to place a new order, I decided to go into the restaurant and get my order corrected. Upon entering, I waited a few minutes before Natasha approached me and asked what was going on. I explained to her that we were missing an item and I would like to have my entire order remade. I watched Natasha explain this to her manager. Virginia (MGR) walked up to me and said “what’s going on?” I responded, “I just watched your employee explain what happened and you’re asking me to repeat myself?” Virginia rudely said I don’t have to deal with this you’re being rude and walked away.” She then kept talking about me to her employees as if I couldn’t hear her. This initiated several verbal insults from me. Then Payton came over and assisted me with the refund because Virginia refused to have my food remade. Virginia immediately made an assumption about me as a black woman. She thought I came to battle when all I wanted was breakfast for my family.
As a consumer, you would think that as a manager, you’d understand that I just left my hotel to come back to the restaurant due to an issue. The first thing that you think should come out of your mouth is so what’s going on that is not appropriate. Instead of I apologize you had to come back here. How can I help you? What can I do to make it right?
This is the job that this woman selected and it’s horrible that she thinks it is OK to talk to people this way. Especially, to your employees. What type of example are you setting by talking about a patron in front of your employees?
What she doesn’t realize is that this was my second visit to this location. On the evening prior, my family watched as people backed out of the drive-thru due to slow service. We experienced the same thing after placing an order in the app and waiting almost 30 minutes in the car for us to receive cold food and items were missing.
So please imagine my frustration as I try to make or get the right items for my family to eat breakfast this morning.
AVOID THIS LOCATION...
Read moreThis is just something I have to point out that literally management and HR needs to hear.
This location is GOOD with its workers and managers here.
The only problem that's LITERALLY slowing this location down to a 3.1 rating on Google reviews, is literally the god awful decision making that the higher ups make. Seriously, I've talked with workers here that used to work here and they talked about the lack of quality support from people like this guy; a manager here that's been making weird decisions. (From the feedback I've gained from these past workers, it's the manager with the white shirt, and, black glasses, that's tall. ALL THE OTHER WORKERS AND MANAGERS ARE OK.)
I ALWAYS come to this McDonald's once in a while in person. I don't just eat here, but I literally do my part as the customer, like other customers that still choose to come here. The workers here are consistent, and I know, because I see them work. Patty, a manager here, has to carry the stress of the unacceptable decisions that are made in the higher ups. Past workers say that they're understaffed some days, and I've seen the other managers be stressed out, like poor Manager Patty over here, trying to make things stable. There was even a past worker that willingly provided a completely open schedule (months ago), but was never given the resources to have training as a recruiter, like what?
There are customers out there that come here that have the understanding and patience for it, but just have it placed to the side because of improper individuals.
I don't know what's going on behind the scenes, because I'm just a customer, but you guys SERIOUSLY need to evaluate the people that you hire at this location because one of your managers slows things down (tall white shirt dude with glasses), with weird decision making skills, and also make sure to evaluate who's managing the stores...
