I would Rate this no STAR. Apparently, i'm not the only one complaining about this guy who never bothers to check his table.
This was our second visit because our visit we had great customer service, and really good food. We decide to invite family over to eat brunch. We sat on the patio and our order was taken. Once our food arrived, I asked the server to heat up my pecan waffle in the microwave for a minute since I did not want to ask for a new one ( in which I should of because no food should be cold, the butter did not melt). He responded, “really I just go it out, it can’t be cold”. He takes it back and bring the waffle burn at the bottom. I take bite and it tasted weird and I asked my husband try it, maybe it’s me and he was like no this burn. Unfortunately, my phone was dead, otherwise, I would post the burn waffle. Did the server taught that I would not notice or was he expecting me to eat that? This is going on, while my niece order chilaquiles and sunny side up well cook eggs that she requested. He brings her plate and those eggs were not cooked it was raw and you can see the clear part of the egg, it was disgusting looking at it. We sat there, 30 minutes later, he bring the tab never when back on us, by then we had lost appetite. He brings tab and I tell him I’m not paying for the burn waffle and he is like “I’m giving you a discount”. The discount was like 2 dollars. I’m like no, “I’m not paying for that or the chilaquiles because we both left our plates and never did, he bother asking how was our food or even going to check on us. My husband coffee was served cold and water hot. He literally revised the tab 4 times and he would not get it wrong every time was more. We were there 45 minutes fixing the tab and did a manger approach the situation? NO. His remarks were like, AW, I KNOW HOW IT IS YOU GO EAT AND EXPECT EVEYTHING TO BE PERFECT” I was like,” No I expect my food to be hot and not burnt” I’m LIKE you EATS THE BURN WAFFLE AND RAW EGG try it. He just kept bringing nonsense remarks, while he could of say, “I apologize for the food, it’s the cook’s fault but I will take care of that from your bill” and it would have been resolve. Horrible service and I will not be returning or recommending this place. This server made our brunch a nightmare. His attitude and his remarks were...
Read moreDon't go an hour before closing, at least that was my experience. We walked in and they were putting chairs on the tables so we asked if they were open and they were, for another hour. So we sat down and the waitress did come by quickly with menus and asking for our drink order.
I ordered the French toast with eggs and hash browns (this was an add on to the French toast). The French toast was a bit burnt on the edges and it seemed the bread may have been stale or they simply cooked the French toast too long. Either way it wasn't good, edible but not a pleasant experience. The syrup too had very little taste which didn't help the French toast at all. The eggs were cooked perfectly however and the hash browns were ok.
We also ordered a cheeseburger which was good and we added my eggs to that giving it a good taste. We also ordered onion rings at an upcharge and they were ok. They are larger onion rings so you only get a few.
Our waitress never came to ask for drink refills and once we were finished with our meal someone else can by to refill my tea.
Parking is ok if they aren't busy because they are located in a strip mall. It seems like a cute enough place with possibly seating in the back, maybe a patio area? They kept us up front though due to them closing (I think) and they were pretty much mopping and cleaning around us.
Prices are ok but it seems their add ons are a bit higher priced so watch what you add because it will increase your bill. For our meal it was $26 (without tax and tip).
Probably won't come again but if I do it will be earlier in the day for, hopefully, better...
Read moreThis was a disaster. Two of us ate here on 2/19 for breakfast. Sat outside in the lovely patio. Got our drinks, ordered our food - after a while the waitress came out and told us there was an emergency with the cook and the food was taking longer. We said no problem we weren’t in a rush.
A little while later a man came out, who I assumed to be the owner, with our food. However, my breakfast burrito was accidentally an omelet so I mentioned this. Then he brought back out my breakfast burrito which was the omelet just wrapped in a tortilla. Upon a few bites I realized the ingredients inside were not what I ordered and he came back out and said there had been a mix up with another woman getting my burrito. He offered to have mine remade and I accepted.
The new burrito came out very quickly. Upon my first bite it was obvious this was a rush job. The eggs were burned with a thick layer of brown. Out of my 6 requested ingredients there were only 3. It was really gross and overcooked. I ate half and resigned myself to being very disappointed.
Once the food arrived no one asked us how things were, refilled drinks, or offered any help. We walked up to pay. It was a $40 breakfast for a two egg breakfast with sausage, a breakfast burrito, one coffee, and one iced tea.
We are from out of town so no plans to return, but I wouldn’t go back if I were local. The owner chalked everything up to having not enough good servers, but he was there and didn’t really provide great service either. Massively...
