I arrived and was excited to see new ice cream flavors so when I was asked for my order by the young lady, I took a quick snap of the picture of the ice cream as I was excited to see it. I asked how long they've been carrying it, I was told "for a while now". I then told the young lady that I wanted the Green Apple Detox add beets. As I was saying, "add beets", she was asking what size I wanted, not even allowing me to finish my sentence. I told the young lady that I wanted the regular size and that I wanted ice, but not filled with a lot of ice. She went on to explain that they "size up", if I get ice added. I attempted to explain to her that I always get ice and it ends up being in a large container but not a ton of ice. The young lady just stared at me in a look of utter annoyance. She said okay. She then proceeded to make my drink and fill my cup to the TOP with ice! I ask, "Is that MY cup?" When she said that it was my cup, I asked her if I could get half the cup. She then went on to ask if I wanted a smaller size, explaining that the drink would not go to the top of the container if she did half the cup of ice. I politely told her that it was fine. When she handed me the drink, it was perfect. Just how I typically have it done.
However, I will say that I typically don't go to this location as there always seems to be some issue. This was my second try and I can do without the bad energy. I always, ALWAYS have a great experience at the Deer Valley location. They just get everything right each and every time I go with GREAT customer service. It really sucks because I live like 3 minutes from this location and would love to frequent it. However, I'll continue to go where I feel like I'm welcomed and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service at this place is rapidly declining for the worse. I have always left them good reviews despite small mistakes in my orders because I believe that as human beings, we all make mistakes, but lately it is as if they don't care at all. I always order delivery and end up going to the store to look for the items that they forgot to give to the courier. The other day I received my delivery in the morning and after a few hours I realized that I was missing two oatmeals, I drove to the store and there THE MANAGER (a brunette lady) told me that they run out of oatmeal⦠no apologies, no excuses about why I never received a call to ask me if I wanted something else instead, or if I wanted a refund. If I hadn't gone to the store, they would have kept my money without giving me any explanation. Out of 5 orders 3 or 4 come with sizes smaller than the original or without some of the items I ordered... or both. The times I call customer service not only does no one answer but they don't return the calls. Today I ordered 5 items and only 3 arrived, I told the guy who brought them to please go back to the store to look for the rest and that I would pay for the trip again. The delivery guy returned with the missing items and I gave him a good tip. I also agree with one of the comments about them closing earlier. My experience was more than 6 months ago... I arrived around 7:40pm to order a juice and they told me that the machines were disconnected, I asked them at what time they ādisconnect the machinesā and the girl replied 7:30, so I left...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHere is a quick update on an experience that I had today at Nekter. My daughter picked up a PB HeathNut 32oz and brought it to me at my job. She mentioned that it looked pretty runny when she saw the girls making the drink, but hoped it'd be ok once I received it. I work about 5 minutes away & we have the Nekter insulated bags. We're die hard fans.
Unfortunately the the consistency of the smoothie was like water and not blended well. Almost as if they didn't blend it long enough or they used too much of the cashew milk. I tried to make several calls since my daughter had just left and could go right back but no one picked up.
It was lunch time so I totally get this & I even understand that sometimes you just have bad days. I eventually spoke to a manager-not sure of her name, who basically said that since it was a pickup, it must have melted to make the consistency change. Due to that, they couldn't make me a free smoothie. I even said that I worked a short distance away, so not long enough for a smoothie to completely melt and she said sorry we can't, since it was a pick up. Unfortunately the staff is revolving and not nearly as professional or as kind as the girls I worked there when I wrote my first review. A smoothie is literally less than $10, I didn't ask for a refund just a re-make. Most companies would be happy to do this & apologize for the experience. She didn't provide her name and I wouldn't post it in a public review-but extremely disappointed and will go to other locations...
