I have been coming here along time , when my father in law comes down from out of town we always bring him here because it’s always been best service and great food. We even stoped going to other local pizza restaurants just to come here. We dine in and spend well over 150 bucks everytime. We had take out previously also never and issue. Well unfortunately today was not great food nor was it good service. It’s sad how it was handled. Well I ordered a dozen wings frys and a sub sandwich and my son got a spaghetti with meatballs so you know I spent good money. Well I got home and my wings were burnt black. Not over exaggerating! I called in thinking they would take good care of me and the guy who answered seemed like he would take care of it said give them 15 min and he would make me new wings fresh . So I went back and the lady took my previous wings and walked to the kitchen came back to the counter not even 3 min later and had the same wings in her hand saying they were the “new wings” when clearly they were the same exact burnt wings I just brought back. They were cold and not hot and fresh and they looked the exact same. I’m more disappointed and dissatisfied because I came all the way back to the restaurant just to have them give me back my same wings. Pretending they made them fresh. I’m not sure who the manager was and I did not want to make a big deal and be a “Karen” so I just left. Poor customer service on them . I will not be coming back not because they burnt my wings but because they handled this situation...
Read moreQuite a bit of diversity on the menu. Pizza, broasted chicken, salads ect. Everything seems fresh. The wait staff is friendly, at times they get a bit overwhelmed and the place becomes a bit chaotic. They have a large open seating arrangement a couple boost this is appropriate for large groups who want to watch TV. It seems like there are lots of TV there. The food is safe and flavorful. Parking is in the rear and on the sides, I always seem to be able to find a parking spot. There are many options for good pizza in Phoenix. Finding where they are takes a bit of time Oregano's is always good noisy but the recipes are right on spot on friendly they can heart have her even handle large groups indoor and outdoor seating. Pizza Bianco is famous on a national level. My experience with them was unremarkable and the thing which is most memorable to me was they had cold filtered water. The waiters seemed impressed with themselves and attempted to seduce our party with their National acclaim and items on their menu which they felt we wouldn't be able to pronounce. La Gran Orange is also a place where you can find good pizza and actually very good hamburgers it is in the Arcadia area which is sort of in east Phoenix and north of Paradise Valley. They have a moderate wine list and you can sit in a banquette, table or a large community table which runs parallel to the bar. Lots of soccer moms, fidgety dads and the occasional curious child. I actually like their sourdough crust and have brought my fancy LA chef friends to try...
Read moreAfter a movie, my husband and I stopped in to Streets of New York Pizza on East Camelback in Phoenix. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. The service was excellent, as our server was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food arrived quickly and the pizza slices are enormous! We brought home pizza for our son, and I ordered a small garden salad to bring home. Once home, I split the generous salad portion in half and saved the other half. The balsamic vinaigrette tasted homemade, and the salad had radishes, black olives, bell peppers, and a pepper, in addition to the usual. It was not cheap, unhealthy iceberg lettuce, but green leaf, red leaf and whatever else was in that delicious salad! Was it cheap? No. I definitely got what I paid for, and I'd rather pay those prices without complaining, because I have to assume part of why the staff and food are so excellent is because the staff is well-compensated for their work and the food is top quality! The pizza sauce is tangy, the crust is delicious and the cheese is really tasty. Not plastic and cardboard pizza like what is sold on every street corner. Definitely a top-notch pizza joint and I hope they stay around for a very long time! I highly recommend you stop in to Streets of...
