I visit Nekter locations all over the valley and I am in a location at least twice a day, every day. I tend to get very good service and have a very good experience at most of the locations in town but the Desert Ridge location is the one exception that stands out for extremely poor overall service. I have personally witnessed the Manager be flat out rude to patrons. The service is always much slower than other locations, and approximately half of the time my order gets completed incorrectly or they allow somebody else to take my drink. I generally tend to be very accommodating of the ongoing errors because I get a sense that the employees are truly trying to do their best. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little training that goes on and there is a continuing stream of new employees through this location. I rarely see the same employee more than once or twice. It is very apparent that this location has significant challenges and problems that seem to mostly attribute and derive from a lack of quality management. In any event, and regardless of the cause of the problems there are definitely significant problems at this particular location and the corporate headquarters would be well advised to look at this location carefully because it is tarnishing the Nekter corporate brand...
Read moreI recently experienced significant inconvenience at Nékter, which left me questioning their approach to customer service and technology adoption. Despite living in an age where online ordering and diverse payment options are standard, Nékter fell short of expectations. Just a few weeks ago, I was able to place an order online without any issues. However, my latest attempt to order online was met with disappointment as the service was unavailable. Opting for a direct visit, I anticipated a smooth transaction using Apple Pay, only to be informed that this payment method is not accepted. This was particularly frustrating given the proximity of NauticalBowls, a competitor within the same complex, which not only offers online ordering but also accepts various forms of payment, including Apple Pay. This discrepancy in service and convenience is baffling and, frankly, a bad business move for this Nékter location. It’s disheartening to see a lack of consistency and adaptability in their operations, especially when alternatives are demonstrating how seamless and customer-friendly the...
Read moreMy daughter ordered a bowl and three times let the young man know she had allergies and could not have the granola. She asked for a few substitutions and the young man took them down. I reiterated that she had anaphylactic allergies and could not have the granola. The order came out with the granola. He said he had repeated the order back to us, clearly and with his tone of voice letting us know the error was our fault in his view. I let him know she had said three times that she could not have granola and he again said he had repeated the order back to us. Another young lady said they would remake the bowl, but it would take a while. I did not feel safe to let her eat something they had re-made when they were obviously aggravated with us. Although we love Nekter, this particular location needs to offer better training to its staff. The error itself didn’t bother me, but how it was handled was truly an example of horrific customer service. I have never walked out of a restaurant before...
