Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Food has been good. There is a worker named Devon and he was full of attitude. I Showed up at 10:10am and the restaurant was locked. Then I found out that I accidentally made an order to the wrong papa johns so I made a new order through Devon. I asked for the medium pizza for carry out. He made me say the coupon code so he could make his manager happy for some reason. Devon refused to take my friends order after. Insisted that the wait time is going to be 2 times as long because the ovens need to warm up. As im waiting, Devon starts accusing me of calling corporate on him. I didnt call corporate on Devon until everything was all said and done after this instance. Devon picks up the phone and tells me to leave and that he's calling the cops. I asked for a refund and he picks up the phone again. Tells me to leave. I dont know what he was on but after accusing me of calling corporate made me insecure on the quality of my pizza at that point and all I wanted was a refund. Devon eventually refunded the money to my card. Another piece of advice is dont tip until you receive service. I tipped Devon and that was the worst part. I have never ever had an experience like this in my whole life. Worst experience overall. My lunch time is valuable and Papa johns costed me my lunch and went all day with no lunch. My family and I got a pizza last nite and just wanted to take the time to acknowledge and thank the fine people here for their care and concern for their patrons. They must have taken a guess that someone in my family uses smokeless tobacco, and made the assumption that someone here would probably have a dip after eating and decided to save us some time and included it in our pizza. That level of thoughtfulness for their customers really shows! The only problem is that my 13y.o. son got the piece, and as he hates my actual tobacco use, he will never eat at any of this chain's locations for the rest of his life. He even stated "usually I like papa john's dips, but not that one". I am a Skoal long cut kinda guy and will never knowingly give money to a fine cut kinda place, the wife also hates smokeless tobacco and will never return to this chain. I only gave 1 stars due to the fine cut, maybe when people order they should be given the choice of tobacco in their pie. Keep up the good work folks, just give a "no tobacco" option. Almost forgot, when my wife called them about this, these good folks were so humble they didn't want any credit and tried giving it to the delivery service. Having worked in a pizza shop when I was young, I kinda have an eye and can tell this level of service gets baked in...

I am a member of a third party delivery service that Papa John's uses as well as a customer but only at this location. We'll start with the restaurant environment. From the first moment walking through the door you can tell that this location is well kept, sanitized, organized, and maintained with the highest of standards. Following that you are met with the utmost professional kind caring staff members that I've ever had the ability to interact with. The team members at this location clearly know their product and have a passion for what they do. Personally I've never been a fan of Papa John's Pizza however the staff members at this location convinced me otherwise. I have to say that this quality is truly a rare experience. I don't know how to explain that when you take quality staff members who have a passion towards what they do the level of quality that comes out in the food products truly makes a difference. I suggest this location to anyone and everyone I know. The passion that the staff at this location has for the quality of their service and product stands above all else. The only bad thing I have to say is that the staff is so efficient that you're in and out of this store too quickly when you'd rather stay longer because it truly...
