Paradise Juice (Paradise Valley) — Restaurant in Phoenix

I was absolutely impressed with this place, despite being slightly overpriced, the menu is legit. I won't be back in anytime soon though, after today. I took my mom out for lunch and bought two $5 drinks and two $9 sandwiches. The drink almost immediately fell off the wobbly table out front. I walked in and informed the owner of what happened and even offered to clean the mess myself, and didn't ask for a replacement because I assumed he'd be classy enough to replace it without a question. Because he didn't seem even the least bit concerned about my unfortunate experience, that spoke volumes of his personality, to me. I had to leave feeling uncomfortable for 1) Seeing my drink hit the ground.. and 2) for the owner and staff not caring AT ALL. I'm a generous tipper too and know for a fact that I deserved better than that.. any respectable paying customer does. We were in the area and decided to stop at a random parking lot that seemed to have a “juice place”. What luck that it was Paradise Juice!

We got a strawberry mix smoothie, a blueberry mix smoothie, and a chocolate chip muffin.

Our first sip of the smoothie was literally a “whoa this is ridiculously good!” Smoothies are rich, fruity, and excellent. I don’t know how the muffin was but based on my daughter wolfing it down and not letting me try it, I’d have to say it’s a winner too!

I love smoothie places like these, it puts those large smoothie chains to shame. So much better at places like this! They had a sign on the side that said “thanks for 20 years” which shows they’ve been around a long time in the neighborhood.
