As an owner of a Solar Company I recognize Amazing service. Normally we only want to write these reviews when someone or some company does bad, but why does it take a company to hit it out of the park to get a review.. Can I say the Team at Legacy was amazing and Yes it was a Grandslam!!
The bottom line from this experience is that we do all this planning for one day, an 8-10 hour day.. We spend all this money for moments of time that will stand still and be forever in your memory and those whom attend your events memory for a lifetime.. So that is why choosing a location , an Event center , and a team is so important..
Location: The Legacy Ballroom is centrally located and it has amazing grounds. The front area is set up for a place for cocktail hour and there are cute round tables and just a very elegant vibe. The ballroom is massive and can be intimate or grandios as it is NOT cookie cutter and you can set up your own seating locations. They have rectangle tables and round tables which allows you to pick your own unique designs. There was a grassy side courtyard with trees where we got married and it was intimate and made for great pictures.Lastly there is an outside courtyard that also features games and turf area . It was a cozy place that featured so many options to get away.

What I liked about Legacy Ballroom is that it starts with a package to save you monies or you can pick and choose your own stuff. I appreciated those options as I got to put my own flare on my wife's and I special day.. I was able to save monies in certain ways yet have the ability to splurge in other things that we wanted !! This place lets YOU have YOUR finger prints on YOUR day!!! Yet they have done so many of these weddings that they have vast knowledge and vast resources and vast choices and history that will make your event, your event!!!!
The People:: Lyndsay she is Special .. Cooler than the other side of a pillow!! This young lady must have been planning events since she was in the womb , because her demeanor is tranquil!! She has it in control! I realize that she knew that planning a wedding months in advance was not game time, and game time was really like a month or two before the event.. We talked about it we looked at stuff we tasted cakes and choose flowers , but truly gametime is really the fews days before the event! She is so organized and has it figured out that when it comes to executing the plan , she was on it!! Not just her, but her whole team!!
The Team of Happy; Alex; and Eric. The key to Leadership is having the people to execute the plan. As a former Athlete I know that the coach does not play one play. He draws it up and paints a picture but the team executes..The team of Happy, Eric , and Alex was like having the Dream Team from the Olympics there!! These folks stole the show!! They worked diligently from set up to tear down! They bussed tables, set up tables, they moved stuff, decorated trees .. They did it all!!! Even when there was nobody watching this group was doing something to make our day go without a hitch.. Lyndsay creates this playbook and every thing has to be in the playbook and because of the intricate details that she puts in the book she is ready for everything, and these exemplorary workers execute.
Conclusion::: The great Eminem, says you get one chance , one opportunity. Thus with all my heart we recommend you use Legacy Ballroom!! I am so pleased that with my one chance!! Like you, you don't know whom to entrust with this one huge and beautiful day to execute your dream and take what is in your mind and make it reality. Read moreLet me begin this review by stating, I was engaged in Oct ’20 and got married in May ’21. That was 8 months of planning and having no clue where to start. I was searching and searching for venues at the beginning of ’21, sure I wouldn’t be able to find one on short notice. The Legacy Ballroom, happened to be hosting an open house and my now husband, along with my mom and niece decided to go take a look. When I say I was blown away by the atmosphere of this venue, is an understatement. My dream wedding included and outside ceremony and inside reception, and TLB has just that. Speaking with Lyndsay for the first time and letting her know my dreams and aspirations for my wedding, and knowing she was able to accommodate all of it – keep in mind, this venue is accompanied with a DJ, open bar and photographer (all of which were outstanding) I walked out of the venue on that day telling my husband, this was the venue.
Once our date was booked, I started planning. Lyndsay was very on top of everything. She made herself available all times throughout the day and was available to answer all my outrageous questions - all while she was planning her own wedding. I can honestly say, she never skipped a beat. She made my planning so much easier and took so much stress off my shoulders.
Fast forward to March ’21, I was introduced to anther amazing lady, Tisha. She would now become my event coordinator. Let me just say, Lyndsay works with the most amazing people. Tisha immediately sent an email introducing herself and jumped onboard. She sent me updates and checked in on me about once a month, which I really enjoyed and made me feel valued as a customer. Within the last 30 days of planning, I was not as stressed as I thought I would be. Being able to already tackle 90% of everything, really made my experience with TLB that much more memorable.
Now lets talk about wedding day. I arrived about 9am that morning to Tisha already setting the tables. Seeing my vision and all of our planning come to life, was breathtaking. Please keep in mind this was a windy day. While I was getting ready with my ladies, I was constantly checked on by the sweetest lady, helping Tisha. She made sure our mimosas were always full and our fruit/ bagel platter was always fresh – I had nothing to worry about. Apparently, while the wind was blowing, it caused the alter to fall, and breaking our shadow box for our unity sand in the process. Tisha jumped into action and replaced it with a glass jar. She then approached my husband and told him what happened (one thing I love is that my husband goes with the flow) he was okay with it, it was out of his control. Understandably so, Tisha was nervous to let me know, she didn’t want me to be upset or worry. Long story short, she spoke to me after the ceremony and explained what happened. I let her know that it was out of her control and I wasn’t worried about it. Little did I know, she was planning to replace the shadow box, at their expense. That was the most amazing gesture and the icing on top of a great experience.
My guests had the most amazing time, I received nothing but complements on how organized and entertaining our wedding was – and that’s all I could as for.

Our wedding was on December 9 and we just did a private ceremony on our own, but had the reception for 152 guests at Legacy. We first booked the venue about 15 months out from our wedding and Lyndsay was great the whole way. My wife and I didn't have any life long dreams of what our wedding would look like, and it's hard for us to make decisions - Lyndsay helped cater to our personalities perfectly. She gave great suggestions once we found some great inspiration pics and we ran with it. She had great vendor suggestions that fit to our budget. Lyndsay really gave us her full attention throughout this time too - if you mention something in passing or have a small idea that you didn't even really flesh out a vision for... she'll hear it and come back with a handful of options or vendors to go with to achieve your dream wedding.
The Legacy Ballroom is also a great choice for the simple fact that you can customize so much. We hung paper lanterns from the ceiling (no resort we toured said we could hang stuff). We picked an outside caterer and they worked perfectly with the venue. The ballroom photographs so well too, we absolutely loved the final look. The front courtyard area was perfect for cocktail hour. The back courtyard area was a great space for the photo booth. You can bring your own alcohol for the bar... great $$$ saver. You’ll even be pleased with the bathrooms here too.. nicer than the Ritz-Carlton.
