Wonderful experience!

For our 30th wedding anniversary, my wife and I set out to find a ring to replace her original engagement ring as the diamond from that ring had been lost years ago. We spent a morning and afternoon stopping into a handful of local jewelry stores so she could get an idea of what she wanted. Demirjian Jewelry Design had great reviews and was in our neighborhood at the corner of Tatum and Shea. We had never really noticed it before. After stopping in for a quick look, our search ended! Garo and Linda are so professional, and really very nice people! We sat down and had a conversation about what we were looking for and that we were still trying to figure that out.

Starting with a general idea of what she wanted Garo went to work. He was patient as we took our time to figure out what she really wanted and along the way Garo explained everything we needed to know about jewelry, diamonds, design choices, etc. He is a true artist who is focused on understanding what we want and showing us options that fit our vision.

There was never any point where we felt pressure or felt we were being led to a certain product or design choice. We discussed pricing options and various materials that helped us turn her initial rough idea into a brilliant and clear vision. Through computer imaging and modelling we could see the ideas come to life and using 3-D printing Garo showed us what the ring would look like and feel like before he every started making it.

As we narrowed down our process to the final diamonds, Garo sourced options for the perfect stone and presented the final options for us to choose from. Along the way we recieved a real education and ended up with a perfect three-stone ring that looks just incredible.

Every time we stopped in to Demirjian we were greeted by and cared for by not only Garo, but also his wife Linda. They are a fantastic team who exceeded any expectations from the day we first walked in the door, through the decision and design process, and all the way until I was able to put that incredible ring on my wife's finger for our 30th anniversary.

In addition to all the feel good stuff... Garo is an incredibly detail oriented craftsman who also provided us with letters and certificates of appraisal as well as grading reports from the Gemological Institute of America for each individual stone as well as the ring as a whole.

PS - if we had decided not to buy our ring from Demirjian, I promise you we would never have felt pressure or had a negative experience from Garo and Linda. Their focus is truly on finding out what their clients are looking for - not on trying to make a sale.

Words can not express how happy and thankful we are to have worked with Garo and Linda. My (now) husband James met this wonderful couple when looking for a jeweler to create my stunning engagement ring. James later shared that he felt absolutely comfortable with the both of them from the start. He never felt pressured or pushed to create a ring he wouldn’t be happy with.

After the proposal I was brought in to discuss my wedding band and, I can attest from my own experience, that they are brilliant, attentive, and a joy to work with. Garo has an incredible talent not only for creating a beautiful piece of art, but for listening and paying attention to your requests. I sent over photos of what I’d envision my wedding band to be and he worked with me to create a band that compliments my engagement ring. During the design process he also took into account the ring’s longevity by ensuring the design did not compromise the soundness of the diamonds.

Needless to say I’ve received many compliments on my rings and I’m always more than happy to share the story of how they were created. Additionally, my mother-in-law also had a piece of jewelry created by Garo and she had the same wonderful experience.

We are truly thankful that Garo and Linda were a part of our journey to the altar and we look forward to working with them again...

Garo has been wonderful to work with! We had a basic idea of what we wanted and Garo took the time to educate us on how we could achieve everything we were wanting within the budget we had outlined. He sourced the most magnificent stone for me, which fit everything I was looking for! When Garo called to tell us that he found a perfect 1.0 ratio, perfectly square cushion cut diamond within our budget, I was shocked. Throughout the design process for my engagement ring, he listened carefully to what I was asking for and then gave me the benefit of his experience to make certain modifications. The end result is an engagement ring I still find myself staring at multiple times per day. The design process for my wedding band has been similar, and I can't wait to wear my new scalloped eternity band! Garo is a fantastic design partner and I feel like the end results for both of my rings is exactly what I had in mind, with some additional security and aesthetic modifications that only an experienced jeweler would think of.
