I ordered and paid for a pair of ski gloves on sale at their online store on April 8. Received confirmation of the order the same day. Two days later, on April 10, I received an email informing me that my order was cancelled without an explanation. When I called to inquire, I was told. "Oh, sometimes our inventory is off." I subsequently missed an opportunity to buy the same product on sale from another retailer, making it a double loss. Very disappointing to say the least. They need to keep their inventory accurate or exit the online market.
Follow-up to my original one star review of this business. I have upgraded my review to 5 stars. After reading my review, the business owner reached out to me almost immediately with an apology about how my cancellation was handled and made a firm offer to work something out. As a good will gesture, he offered me a newer version of the same gloves at the original price I had paid for the sale item, a $36 difference. The gloves shipped the very next day. This generous gesture speaks volumes about their desire to maintain excellent customer service and to not let customers be disgruntled over a transaction. I will gladly do business with them again. Read moreI don't often write reviews, but feel compelled to say how great my experience was with Sun & Ski Paradise Valley. I drove up from Tucson for an event and took the opportunity to get my new skis mounted while in Phoenix (no ski shops in Tucson!). Dave -super friendly - assisted me and went out of his way to get the mounting finished ASAP even though I told him I had a couple days. I picked my skis up the next day, but not thinking, I took the skis but not my boot I had left for the mounting. I didn't realize my mistake until I was back in Tucson on Sunday. I called the store, and the person who assisted me (can't remember his name) said he'd send my boot no later than Monday morning. I told him again, no rush, I had a couple weeks before I left for skiing. My boot arrived this morning (Tuesday), not only shipped overnight, but packaged so carefully (in a sleeve in a boot box inside another box with cushion bags), I was blown away. Read moreGreat experience with customer service! Bought my first pair on On cloud shoes, as well as 2 for hubby. My right one squeaked said bad after only a few times wearing them. I had lost my receipt and when I went to store to see if anything could be done past the 30 days of when I had purchased them, The store was closed for the season. I pretty much thought I was screwed and stuck with a pair of shoes I could not wear because it was so obnoxious. I reached out ON and filed an issue for warranty but they said I needed an actual receipt. I called the store and they were open again! I spoke with the manager Jake and he said he was more than happy to either email me or print me out a copy of the receipt, but offered to have me just come into the store to make a return and pick same or different pair.
