Philly's Sports Grill — Restaurant in Phoenix

Wow - what Atrocious service. Ordered a burger and fries with an extra side of cole-slaw. I guess the girl behind the bar must have forgotten to enter the order because when I asked her after 45 minutes where my order was, she went to check, but never got back to me. When the order finally came through after another 20 minutes, she had gotten it wrong and forgotten the fries. I pointed out that the fries were missing to another bar-lady and the fries came about 5mins later, but then there was no silver-ware; so, I asked the first bar-lady if I could have some. She walked off and started chatting with 4 young guys at the end of the bar, but never returned. After approx. 5 mins I went off to look for silverware. I couldn't find any, but I asked another waitress, and she brought some over to me a few minutes later. The lady behind the bar was still talking to the 4 guys at the end of the bar and had forgotten my request. At this point I was truly angry at the atrocious service. I asked to see the manager (Called Dom). I explained what had happened, but he did not offer any reasons for the bad service. Edit: I have to add that we’ve now been here often and we also recommend the Asian Chicken Nachos and the Green Chili Pork Nachos on top of the other dishes in our original review, they are all delicious! I also have to add that it can get quite busy there, and when it does they get overwhelmed as I believe they may not have enough waitresses sometimes, and they can run pretty slow. But the food is still fantastic!

Original review: We love this sports bar, we were delightfully surprised with how good the food was! My husband got the Southwest Cajun Chicken Salad and he loved it! Definitely one of his favorite salads now. I got the Raspberry Chipotle Buffalo Wings, grilled and re-tossed in the sauce! They were absolutely delicious! Some of my favorite wings now! The drinks were good and my husband had a nice amount of cold beers to choose from on tap. The atmosphere was nice, not too loud but had music playing and many TV’s to choose to watch. There was even a TV at our booth! The customer service was great and our waitress was very professional and courteous! We’ll definitely be returning to try...

With so many sports bars in PHX I choose this Sports bar to spend my hard earned $ , I drive 5 miles to come here because of the great service , good food , friendly atmosphere . The great choices of beer and spirits . I visit here no less then 4 times a week , every time I go there is one sever in particular that is so amazing it’s hard to believe she isn’t a manager . Her name is Ali she knows the food & drink menu inside out , is friendly , professional , and from what I see everyone she serves loves her. She flies around this place out doing all other servers . She has regular customers and she knows what they want before they do, if she were to go work at another Sports Bar I would follow her as I know dozens of other Philly customers would . She makes this place a pleasure to visit , being 71 years old I’ve seen my share of servers but this Lady takes the cake .
