Pretty much a Vietnamese, Panda express now.

So we have not been here in several years as we moved from the area. While deciding where to eat out today my son recalled fond memories of the owner and how he was always excited to see him. My son no longer a little guy, now 5'8, mustache and deep voice; i responded, " He won't even recognize you." My son persisted lol.

When we arrived our favorite two people where not there but a staff of young Americans. Son was disappointed but we still ordered. (The prices have drastically went up).

The food was very subpar. The beef and rice was very dry but very flavorful. The bean sprouts were brown and no snap. The cucumber lifeless and soggy. The vegetarian phó, the tofu was just straight out the package and dumped into the bowl. The owner use to press, fry and season the tofu, it was very good. This just fell apart in the phó and it was not good at all. The beef phó, my son said it was lacking flavor and the beef was chewy and flavorless. The spring rolls were chewy and hardly edible. We took them home to our dog.

My family spent $67 for not so good food. Especially when we have such fond memories of how delicious and family centered this place was, we were very disappointed. I pray the B family is in good health, we miss you and your...

A very nice meal on a day when we "missed" lunch due to an unexpected snafu. The counter people were so pleasant and kind, allowing us to order a wonderful gluten free shrimp spring roll appetizer while trying to make up our minds about entrees. My companion opted for a gluten free shrimp Pho while I ordered a gluten free chicken bun dish.

The white meat chicken was excellently cooked. They offered me a choice of GF sauce - fish sauce or their custom made lemon grass sauce. I tried a little of each and would recommend the fish sauce if you want a little saltiness and the lemon grass is more of a light vinegarette.

My only "complaint" might be the limited options for the boba drinks. We like a Thai tea flavor that they don't carry, but by the time we finished our scrumptious food, we weren't worried about getting any extras as the portions are large.

I usually take a few photos but will have to wait until our next visit as we were so famished and the aroma was so tempting that I forgot anything besides enjoying an excellent meal.

This is a counter service, fast (very) casual vibe place. Don't expect fancy tables or chairs, just...

Okay went to this place for lunch and I ordered the tea light special which was a flavorless spring roll and a strange flavored egg roll and beef pho

The serving size are for 5-year-olds my pho literally had 2 oz of noodles one piece of beef a half of meatball a lot of onions and only two or three cups of broth

The taste was good but the portion was so small that I left hungry, I ended up stopping and getting a small sandwich to eat

But this child's portion of food cost me just about $20 the soup was $18 which is ridiculous considering the amount of food that was there I was literally able to eat the entire thing with a spoon and did not need chopsticks because there wasn't enough substance other than onions in the soup

The owner manager mail that is there was nice The food came out promptly it was warm enough the restaurant is clean but I will not return because the portion size is so small compared to the price

As a faux connoisseur amuse to spending $11 for a bowl of pho not $18...

I suggest you find another place to enjoy a nice bowl of pho soup..

I...

I gave this place a shot based on its 4.5 star rating so it's my first time here. It's a fairly small place with high traffic in and out. During my experience, the young lady at the register was helpful. After ordering and swiping my card, the register asked for a tip for some odd reason. I assume taking my order is part of her job but I gave a tip anyway. I ordered the chicken Pho and it came pretty quickly. Overall it's okay. It's got maybe 3-4 thin slices of chicken and barely any veggies to go with it. My biggest issue with it was how salty it was. Just burned going down due to the incredibly high salt content. It tasted fine. I have found better value for the price at places like Viet Kitchen and Fresh Mint. I don't foresee myself coming back here again, but if you're desperate and in the area, it does the job. If you're looking for a more comfortable restaurant atmosphere or better value in terms of food content for price, I'd consider other places before this one. They're alright. Hope that helps.

Nestled near the crossroads of Scottsdale and the 101, right next to the cinema, Tea Light Cafe has been a local gem since its inception in 2006. Its proximity to my house and the flurry of positive Google reviews it has garnered over the years finally piqued my curiosity enough to pay it a visit. As I stepped into the cafe today, possibly as their first customer of the day, I was eager to document my pho adventure for my gastronomic journal. The cozy warmth of the pho booth instantly enveloped me, offering a welcoming embrace that promised a good meal ahead. I opted for the chicken pho, intrigued by its unique accompaniment of lemon juice for dipping—a first in my extensive pho experiences. The generous portion did not disappoint, making every bite as comforting as it was flavorful. For anyone finding themselves in the area perhaps after catching a movie, I highly recommend stopping by Tea Light Cafe to indulge in their delightful offerings.

Nice place to eat on the patio in the Phoenix Sun ☀️. Tea light cafe special was a pretty good deal since it includes a medium sized pho bowl and egg rolls/spring rolls. You’re allowed to sub egg rolls for spring rolls and vice versa. You go in and pay first and essentially have to serve yourself. That’s nice for the business but seems a bit lazy compared to other Vietnamese restaurants we’ve been to. The Vietnamese coffee is decent. They will give you cold drinks automatically unless you specifically ask for hot. Pros: I liked that they gave me the lime juice in the plate in addition to limes. I always have to ask for extra limes at other restaurants. Meat is very good. It feels like they simplified the menu which I like. Cons: Soup is not very hot when it comes out and does not taste as flavorful. Feels like they are doing the bare minimum for the cost. Not much meat is given for each bowl.
