I so hungry and was craving a good meal usually my experience at most chili's locations is very good with no complaints. This location however is definitely an exception. I was sat at a table after about waiting for 40 minutes there was multiple tables open I understand that they may be short staffed because of covid and whatnot. Our server was generally ok you can tell she didn't care to do her job well, I was missing stuff I needed to complete my order. Another server had to bring the rest of what I ordered. The issue that really prompted me to write this review was the issue with the rude manager. I was grabbing the salt shaker and it was extremely greasy and somewhat sticky, not sure if they regularly clean their salt and pepper cadi at all. I was about to grab the salt shaker from the table beside me and that one was even worse. I asked for the manager to let him be aware. Manager name is JAMES. He approached very stern and aware I had made a brief complaint before and he reminded me of that. He was extremely rude and dismissive of my complaint. He repeatedly told me to have a good day and a good evening roughly 5-7 times. I mentioned I may write a review or even post pictures of the salt shakers. His response was do as you please he had no worries and didn't seam to care at all. He offered no solutions besides a new order of fries but the issue was not with the fries. The issue was the greasy/ sticky and unsanitary salt and pepper shakers. His solution to the issue should have not only been a discount but to offer a clean and disinfected salt shaker and possibly and disinfectant towelette if possible. The bartender is amazing as always, and food is usually excellent I will be back. Be aware of the manger JAMES if you happen to have a complaint be cautious of his dismissive, rude additude. (wasn't aware I could post pictures with the review or...
Read moreI haven't felt so invisible to waitstaff in years. I visited a few days ago, the restaurant was sort of busy for dinner but I was seated immediately. It then took nearly 10 minutes for anyone (who ended up being my waiter and this was one of the two times I ever saw him) to stop by my table to welcome me and take my order. When my order was brought out by someone else (she was nice and did her best), I asked for a small plate to assemble my fajitas on. While she was looking for one, I realized part of my order was incorrect. I then pointed that out when she returned, so off she went to try to correct it. While she was gone, I then realized they brought out the wrong tortillas as well. So I end up waiting about 10 minutes to get all of the issues with my order corrected, while it was getting cold on my table. Then, finally, my waiter appears and asks how things were going. Seriously? I haven't even had time to eat a bite at this time despite the food being on my table for 10 minutes. I shared that I had just spent 10 minutes getting my order fixed and his response was: well I turned it in the way you ordered. That's really poor customer service. He then said if I needed anything else, to let him know and walked away. I never saw him again. In fact, not a single person in the restaurant stopped by my table. No offer to refill my drink, or check that I needed anything, no manager to ask how my visit was. I actually wanted to ask for another tortilla because what they brought me was less than the usual number and I still had food left to put together. But after waiting 10 minutes, not eating, I gave up, paid my bill (using the card swiper at the table) and left. What a horrible waste of my time and money. I will never return to...
Read moreIt's valentines day, so I brought my elderly mom to have her favorite hamburger at Chili's. However the location in Pico Rivera is an absolute disaster! It brought her at exactly 11am as she has yo take her diabetic and heart medication with her lunch. Not only was it not open at 11am, they made us and two other guests wait outside for over five minutes while they just looked at us from inside the restaurant. When we were let in we sat next a a booth from the manager. He wore black pants, black jacket and pink shirt. He looked at us and did not apologize for the wait. When we went to order, mo.ordered the buger special. I told the server I would have the same just with a different drink and a ceaser salad as appetizer. The floor manager , also in all black with a red top, brought a hamburger special and a full ceaser salad. When I told her that the order was wrong, she wanted to take my mother's food away and make her wait until my hamburger was ready. What intelligent person would make an 83 year old woman wait for lunch???? A male greeter in a Grey polo came by the table asked how everything is going, at this time I was disgusted by the incompetence of the Chili's staff. I let my mom answer the gentleman, he looked at me and said I just came by to say, "happy valentines day." In a sarcastic tone. The manager came by the table, explained he was unaware of the situation and promised to have...
