Star Crab — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

I’ve wanted to try this place out but the service is horrible . As soon as I walked in she asked me if I was signing in since I thought oh reservation right and she just gave me attitude and said sign in and write my name down and walked away. We left to go waste time since it was going to be almost an hour wait and I put my number and I was waiting for them to call me and I never got a call and we end up going to the restaurant mind you I had a timer on my phone and was waiting for the phone call we tell her my name for a table and she tells me we called you 2 times and you didn’t answer all rudely and I told her I did not receive any calls and she explains my number out and I said no it’s repeated my number and told me then that I need to write more clearly with an attitude and tone which is just pathetic like how do you get a 2 mixed with a 7 ? At least she gave us a table but still the service is unbelievable here. They didn’t even give us lemon nor gloves I had to be calling them like 3 times . The workers just there talking in the back .The food was okay until we had ate the crawfish me and my family went and some of the crawfish tasted really disgusting to the point it make me nauseous. My stomach has been hurting ever since I ate the food here as well of some of my family members. I will not be coming here again and it’s definitely not worth...

The food is good and a few dollars cheaper than most Cajun restaurants but my first time experience there was bad with the service. The service is terrible. The place was not even busy at all. First they didn't have rice because someone forgot to put rice in the cooker. Then they didn't have salt. When we finally got our food, our server disappeared or would walk right past you. You had to wave your hand in the air and yelp out excuse out loud to get their attention. My friend never got her drink she ordered. We got over charged for three rice but yet "they didn't have rice" lol total idiots. Also my brother had ordered from them earlier that day and told me the server said you get a free desert. Yeah that never happened. They probably forgot. Not surprised. I didn't bother mentioning it since I knew we wouldnt go back. I'll stick to Stinkin Crawfish and boiling crab. I'll pay more money for way better service. They need to hire more...

Ummm me and my bf went cuz it was empty and we saw good reviews the first red flag was how long it took to get seated when no one was there. secondly we ordered the crab legs and shrimp special, the egg we added was green. like so overcooked it was green. there was raw garlic in our sauce so we kept eating spicy burning raw garlic that left my tongue in pain for hours after. we never got a refill, we never got checked on. we were waving down waiters and peeping at them and they never came. we asked for a refill finally after paying they told us to take the lid off only for them to return with the drink with a new cup and lid. i regret spending my money here. went to boiling crab weeks later, spent the same amount and we got checked on and got refills and nothing was overcooked. save ur self the regret just go...
