Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

This chipotle is terrible. I went a few weeks ago in the evening and was amazed at how awful my experience was. Chipotle is normally a well oiled machine, not this time. It was fairly empty at the time, and I got in the short line. When I got up to the glass I was ignored by the worker who was preparing a called in order. Once he completed his task he acknowledged me and asked what I would like. I went through the normal I'd like this and that to find out he had just put their last salad dressing in with the to go order and they were now completely out of salad dressing. I contiune my order and ask for fajita vegetables on my salad and burrito; No fajita vegetables, and no one at the grill to make anything. So he gives me an arbitrary timeline of 20 minutes to wait for the vegetables, I decline and move on with my order.

I move to the next section, the condiments. As I'm moving over he starts to prepare more of the order that was called in for which the person is waiting for at the end of the counter. They looked quite annoyed I can only imagine how long they had been waiting. I get my condiments loaded up, go to the register and surprise there is no one manning the register. The next event is the man who prepared my burrito yelling from the prep station to the back room for the manager by name for a good minute before they come out to the register. There are still no fajita vegetables being prepared at this point or anyone manning the grill still.

I get rung up at the register and ask for a drink and a bag of chips, what else could go wrong? No chips, I was informed that their frier was broken and that there were no chips at all. So I get my cup, pay for my food, goto the fountain and three of the soda selections are out. Including, you guessed it my soda choice.

The best part of this whole experience is that I get out of the store with my salad sans dressing and fajita veggies, burrito sans veggies, no chips and a drink I was not too fond of; All before the call in order that was already there before I arrived is completed. In fact I left the parking lot with the call in order still waiting at the counter for their food.

Overall terrible experience, will not be returning to this...

Came in to order a burrito bowl. They had a sign hanging by the guy taking the order that they aren’t accepting cash unless you have EXACT change and are only taking credit. No reason was given as to why. The guy with the tattoo on his right arm was already in a bad mood once I told him it’s illegal to have signage like this out, and I was immediately given an attitude for that. I began to order my food and was presented with the worlds smallest portions I asked for them to fill up my bowl because I didn’t want to be that guy that comes in with his phone out recording to make sure I get my monies worth…. I decided to just leave the food and go somewhere else, that’s when take my business elsewhere. The second I turned around I heard the guy say out loud “thank god” in an aggressive tone. So I turned around and confronted his disrespectful attitude and let him know that if he doesn’t like his job then he needs to find something better or quit. While this is happening there was a line behind me and everybody heard this employee and his intolerable behavior. If you want small portions and drugged up disrespectful employees who aren’t wearing gloves or proper PPE on the job then come at your own risk. This is the last time I ever go to chipotle because all the rumors of small portions are true and they don’t care to fix the problem instead the raise prices. I asked for more chicken and they got mad and said they will charge me for every scoop of chicken I get, this is after giving me half a spoonful. LOL unbelievable …. All this nonsense because they wouldn’t take care of...

Went in on Tuesday 20th, 2022. Worst experience EVER! The crew was rushing me through the line, rolling their eyes when I asked for more rice (when they only put a teaspoon on the burrito) I've never felt so pressured when spending money on food! Any request I had they had horrible attitude. Then when I got there to pay all I had was cash. The cashier said loudly you don't have anything else ? You don't have apple pay? Sadly I told her this was all the money I had (as embarrassing as that is) . Again eyeroll, and is that it and shoved my bag at me . Next is napkin & Tabasco area, the store was a mess to say the least, the brown Tabasco was out, I sent my daughter up to ask for another bottle while I watched our stuff (ours was togo order btw) they ignore. And ignored. And ignored . Finally after they had served the 6 people in line the guy said oh she'll get it, after literally acting like we didn't exist, she finally came over and again, attitude, opened the bottle and put on counter. I have never felt so unwelcome and rushed in a place I was spending money. Now we get home, the food quality, the burrito, they had over poured the salsa in the midst of rushing me. So bad it was not edible. Chicken was dry . And the burrito looked like it was for a child ! I never write negative reviews like this, I believe this is the first. Needless to say I will NEVER go back or order online from this store...
