I have visited this McDonald's (in Pico Rivera on Washington Blvd.) over and over again, because it's conveniently close. Visited most recently on New Year's Eve and the Saturday after. On New Year's Eve, arrived in line at 8:20, there were about 5 cars in front of me. Arrived at the drive-thru window at 8:40 and was told they closed at 8:30. In those 20 minutes I was in line, no employees came out to let us know or to close the line. They simply did not care and told us the cars in front and behind us were Ubereats. Did not want to hear or honor that we were in line before closing time. On Saturday I went again, they were open, I ordered my food and specifically repeated and asked if what I ordered was in the bag. I was by myself and in consideration of not making ppl wait longer, I trusted the employee and drove home. I got home and safe to say what I ordered wasn't what was in the bag. I know we are living in a different world, pandemic going on, safety protocols in place, lines everywhere you go. But we have been living like this for 10 months now. The businesses need to get it together, train their employees properly and on a side note, if you don't want to work, don't go in. Your poor attitude shows and reflects on the company you work for. And also Managers and Supervisors, they learn from you as well, if they see you have a poor attitude, they'll think its OK and behave like you do. I get it, we all can get frustrated, but take a break, take a breather, because at the end of the day, we all need to work, to have money, to be able to go and buy food. And yes, it's my choice to go get fast food, but it's also their choice to treat their customers the...
Read moreBATHROOMS SUCK! Almost always has homeless people hogging up the stalls. No paper towels - the blow dryer is TOOOOO LOUD!!! So if the employees are anything like the customers, then nobody is seriously using it - and if there is no reasonable way to dry your hands, IS ANYONE EVEN WASHING THEIR HANDS!!!
Edit 5/30/18 I've been back several times since the original review and I have to say that I am able to see a difference - fewer homeless people sitting around in front and walking into the store for free sodas and stuff.
I think that the thermostat for the bathroom has been lowered to about 60 degrees so it is less inviting for the homeless to hang out or bathe in the restroom.
The hand dryer is still HORRIBLY LOUD!!! It's really probably damaging your hearing when you use it and they don't have paper towels as a backup like some places. I wish that they would install one of the newer style dryers like they recently installed at the Home Depot around here or even the older style hand dryer that puts out a little heat - World Dryer (I think)
I never hear the blow dryer running while I dine in, so it's a safe bet that no one is washing their hands because of this situation.
Aside from that, the food and service is...
Read moreI went around 830pm it wasn't that busy. I approached the register and stood there for a while and a line started to form behind me. No one said I'll be right with you or anything. Finally an employee said hello. I place my order a big Mac combo and chicken tenders with no salt on fries. When I received my order my fries were over cooked and my big Mac tasted different. I went to the counter and let the employee know so they can correct the problem. The same man that took my order ask me what's wrong with it? I explain that the meat had a different taste it's doesn't taste like a big Mac. He was a little rude about it. I have worked in the food industry for more than 12 years, and the way he went about the problem wasn't right. Instead he should of apologize and offer another burger. He did however offer me another big Mac but not in a polite manner. He should of said would you like? Instead of saying what do you want? I honestly didn't want anything I just wanted to let them know that so they can correct...
