Credit service experience was horrible. I opened an AX account based on a recommendation from a store associate when making a purchase. Sounded like a great idea. Took two hours to get thru the transaction because of credit services and their attempts to verify that I was me. The poor clerk was trying to help and all he could say is that they have switched to a new credit provider and are having problems. Finally get a store manager and we get it done. I get the bill. I pay the entire amount. Three days after the due date the collection group calls stating I am overdue. I look and the e-payment processed thru my bank on the correct date. I call. Turns out I accidentally paid the amount to an old Macy's account my wife had. I gave all the information to the account rep. Agent says that it was in my wife's account but is in transition to the new account. Another collection call. I call back. (Keep in mind that the call center is understaffed and every time I call I get to wait 10 to 15 minutes on hold and when I do get someone they sound like they are brand new and don't have a clue what they are doing). Agent can't find the payment and tells me the first agent did not do what was necessary to fix the issue. This agent can't find the payment. I ask to speak to a manager. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes(agent tells me there is a long queue for the supervisors), the agent tells me they can't help. Tell me I have to go to my bank and get a transaction record(with the same information on it that I can see on line and am trying to give them) and FAX it to them. On bank letterhead. During this little fiasco they keep calling me about the overdue payment. I did what they asked. Took another hour, partly due to the fact that the FAX number the agent gave me was for an auto dealership in Ohio and I had to call back for the correct number.. Got a letter from Macy's telling me they have transferred the money. Called again today. Still have a balance so I wait for 15 minutes to talk to someone. The offer to transfer me to payment services but agent comes back and says due to high volume they are not taking calls. Tells me that the payment is in process of moving to the old account to my wife's newer account. At that point it will be transferred to the new AX account in my name. It will take at least 10 days for this to happen because of the amount of the payment. I have at least 4 hours invested in trying to correct what should be a simple fix. What a horrible experience and Macy's lost a long term customer. One that has shopped at the stores for at least 15 years. And will make it a point to share the horrible experience with everyone I can...
Read moreOn Black Friday I went to the watch store in Macy's with my wife, Tere Pizarro and bought a Bulova Accutron II Crystal Swarovski watch with a great deal although we had to wait 2 hours to complete the service! They were going to remove 2 links on the watch because it was big for my wrist! They tried but the tools to size the watch and remove 2 links broke! Then they told us that they will send the watch to the Bulova Company to size the watch and that we had to wait for 7 to 10 days and they will call us back to pick up the watch to the store. The Manager of the store told us that and we accepted and we where happy and treated with excellent Customer service that day! 15 days passed by and no call from the store so we decided to go today to the Macy's store in the Florida Mall to check what happened to the watch! We talked to 2 different employees who sent us to 2 different places who they did not what to do to solve the problem. Finally we saw the Manager who checked in the computer and found out that the watch was in the store since yesterday! She checked in 2 safes and the watch was not there! Then she called by phone and in the floor there were 2 UPS boxes and there was the watch in one of them! She took the watch out of the box and there were no links and the watch was not done anything for sizing ! The watch was sent by the store to remove 2 links and they did nothing in 15 days! That's no way to treat a Customer! Then they did not have any options for fixing the problem! Then my wife asked the manager if we could go to remove the links in another watch store independent from Macy's and pay for it and come back for a refund and they will deduct that from the watch price and she said yes! We went to a watch store near the dining room and payed 21 dollars for sizing the watch! We came back to Macy's for the refund of the money spend for sizing the watch and we had to wait 1 hour for them to give us the money! I will not recommend this store to anyone! This is a good example of bad treatment...
Read moreMy first experience was a little disappointing, I ordered my âgo to drinkâ CRC with almond milk , whipped cream and caramel drizzle. At the time I was a colleague when shift manager âRavynâ took my order. I greeted Ravyn with a Good Morning and informed her I was a new colleague in order to obtain my associate discount she approach me with a â What Do You Want â . I then re greeted her with a âGood Morning â and she then responded back Good Morning following with a â what do you want â. Ravyn is not so customer service friendly she was very snoody and it was a very uncomfortable wait . On top of that my drink was very below the standards of what the Brand provides and it didnât meet my requests as a customer. Ravyn is the prime example of âthat person doesnât like her jobâ. I would reframe from ordering every time I see Ravyn is working. Now on this particular day I went to order and I specifically asked associate âEmilyâ to make my drink . Emily shows top of the line customer service and her drinks holds the companyâs standard at a higher level. Iâve stressed to Emily that I would prefer her to make my drink instead of Ravyn who I have had a previous bad experience with . For some odd reason after asking Emily several times she completely ignored my request and shook a massive amount of toppings on my drink that was prepared and passed off by Ravyn while stating â Iâm making your drink now â I then asked for a refund and to speak to a manager. After discussing my concerns with manager on duty Freddy I observed the conversation he had with Ravyn behind the counter and everything was nothing but smiles and laughs he also made many hand gestures imitating me if thatâs your professional example for â MANAGERS â more...
