Update. Previous five stars reduced to three. Last couple of visits as previously noted in five star review about them skimping on meat, now it's almost non existent. I maybe had a tablespoon of barbacoa. Not joking. Lettuce had dark all along edges, no cheese was put on the bowl. Maybe I'll have to stop pickup order to see if that helps.
Ive been here twice. It's always super busy and seemingly understaffed. Today they were accepting online orders only. They skimped a bit on the meat, but overall after mixing well the ingredients tasted fresher and more in harmony with each other than any other chipolte that Ive been to in the 3 recent years. That flavor combo that I love for a particular order I place, when it is done right, tastes so amazing and is down right crave worthy. Ive had some really good chipolte and really really bad. The closer you get to the city the worse it gets, but not always. I have a chipolte in the 'burbs that is on my way home and I would NEVER eat there. 10/10 orders all wrong and blobs of fat etc. So every time I try a new chipolte Im always nervous. I will stop at this one in wexford each time I am around for lunch, because both times the ingredients were perfectly done. Rice done correctly, meat wasnt too fatty, right amount of items when I ask for light this, heavy that. Read moreDecided to try chipotle again after giving it a break because it was one of my favorite restaurants. My steak was so burnt that you can hardly chew it. The same went for the chicken bowl. Sadly going down hill til it’s going to hit rock bottom. Will never eat at this location again. I would give it zero stars if I could.
Since corona has hit, I have tried on multiple occasions to order chipotle (as it is one of my favorite restaurants). I was Doing Uber eats at first and not one order has been correct (I’ve ordered multiple times and always get the EXACT same thing) yet it has not been correct. So today I think I’ll outsmart the system and drive to go into the store.
Once we get there we are told we have to use the app to order. I knew we were in for it now. I get home where i can Finally check the food and neither bowl is correct. Apparently the apps encrypt your order after you submit it. You can’t eat here unless you want a shot at the dark of what you’re getting or you are there to monitor the order in person. Not coming back considering i haven’t had a bowl made correctly in the better half of 8 freaking months.
Maybe we should focus on one bowl at a time rather than making...
Read moreThe past 4 times I’ve been here the following has happened: Trip 1: note on door that they closed at 3:30pm (it was 5:30 on a weekday). No updates to website, etc to indicate this. Trip 2: waited 20 minutes past stated pick up time for an online order Trip 3: waited 20+ minutes in line to learn there were no veggies (for the veggie burrito bowl) and no guacamole. Paid for a drink only to find all aguas frescas were empty. Trip 4: lunchtime. Waited in a line of about 12 people. Overheard “we’re out of that” as I was awaiting my turn. After several minutes, customers were told they couldn’t access the register and can no longer make food because they can’t take payments. The entire line leaves the building.
My overall impressions are that this location frequently lacks stock, cleanliness, staffing, and efficiency.
Our family enjoys Chipotle but this place is horribly unreliable and poorly run. It is not worth my time to continue stopping here and hoping for a different outcome.
