As someone who’s tasted Mexican food from coast to coast—and been let down more times than I care to count—I can confidently say this place is hands-down one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Nestled inside a humble grocery store (which, let’s be honest, is where the magic usually happens), this taco spot delivers the kind of authentic flavor that makes you pause mid-bite and say, “Okay, they know what they’re doing.”
I tried every type of meat they offered, and not one disappointed. Each was seasoned to perfection, tender, and full of character. The burrito? A masterpiece—generous, balanced, and wrapped like it was made with love. And the salsas? A playful, fiery lineup that kept us reaching for more. One in particular stole the show: a tamarind and habanero blend that was bold, tangy, and absolutely addictive.
Service was lightning-fast, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of what they’re serving. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a secret—except you’ll want to tell everyone you know.
As a proud Mexican who takes her food very seriously, I don’t hand out praise lightly. But this spot? It earns every word. If you’re craving real-deal Mexican food that hits all the right notes, don’t sleep on this one. Highly, highly...
Read moreI ate here for the first time today, it was not completely straightforward to find because most of the signs are for the attached grocery store. But the restaurant is indeed inside! I ordered one pastor quesadilla, an asada taco and a suadero taco, they were very delicious! The quesadilla was my favorite, the cheese was a perfect choice and the meat was very flavorful. The flavor of the suadero was a real stand-out, I loved it. They have a small salsa bar, the three salsas that I tasted were very good. I added salsa, lime, cilantro and onions to each of my food items and I definitely recommend that. This is a personal taste thing, but I really prefer corn tortillas over flour, so I was happy that they used corn. It was also a nice bonus that they had Sidral! I'll definitely be coming back here again and for sure recommend it if you're...
Read moreWOW, my family and I are from Texas, I grew up part of my childhood in Mexico. This is as close you come to street tacos in our USA.
The suadero (belly thin flap or brisket) was confit to perfection, the al pastor tacos were ok but their costilla tacos (rib from a rib steak) were out of this world.
They have 3 different salsas and a condiment bar (cilantro, onion, lines, salsas) were you fix your own tacos.
Service was amazing, their Orchata water is actually made there, it tastes just like traditional one should taste. One thing to keep in mind, this isn't a place where you go with a lot of people to eat as their sitting room is small.
Their restroom was very very clean. FyI ...they are located in the same spot as a Mexican...
