I rarely leave reviews but i am very diaappointed today. I am a 62 y/o, work 50 hrs a week, and take care of my 87 y/o mother before and after work every day. I have limited time (and car) availability. I was at store at 11:20 today, was polite to associate, even commented on how pretty all the bras/maniquins looked. I apologized.. knowing i didn't have an appt, but could i be assisted? She looked at schedule, said someone coming in 10 minutes, someone already being helped, and could only help after noon, and to come back. There were 2 girls there. I explained my issue/ life and said i had about an hour expected free time now, could they take me. Nope due to above reason. I left, won't go back. Business must be doing so well that doesn't matter that myself, and my 3 daughters that i take there and buy bras (2-3 each time per person), my sales won't be missed. When i first found this place i was very happy and thought great place, kind people, they donate clean used bras to shelter women..... but guess they don't care to help customers that don't have appts. Its not like i needed hours of assistance. Just so very disappointed that now i have to try to find other pockets of time to find bras that fit in how many other stores.... will probably take me days and weeks of trying to do more shopping in my life rather than 1 place. Oh and as you can see from owner response, yes i was in year and half ago....which should tell you how hard it is to find any time in my life. Also didnt mention i was walking with cane, so they should realize that to walk out, and come back is difificult. I know staff has to bring bras to try from stock, but most of time is spent by customer putting bras on, clerks asking question and getting more bras to try on and then sales check out. It is not constant effort from staff. I was not treated with any consideration and they also did not care that i was leaving, did not offer to assist me between their handing bras to others. Read moreI'm only giving Levana two stars because I feel their refund/ exchange policy is very outdated and in my opinion a huge inconvenience. I will say they responded to my emails and answered all my questions in a timely manner. As many women know It can be really difficult to purchase bra's online without being able to try them on first. I ordered my normal size in the same brand I've been buying for a while and unfortunately it didn't fit. I contacted Levana to initiate an exchange for a different size (not return) and was told I would need to repurchase the different size bra. That means I would have to wait about a month to receive a different size if I wait on my refund (per their refund policy 3 weeks) to repurchase or I will be out of another $100 and the possibility of this one not fitting either instead of just being out the initial cost. All because they don't do exchanges. I opted for a complete refund instead of an exchange because of this. My return was received by Levana on 4/6 and it's 4/18 and my refund still hasn't been processed by this business. I emailed with my concern and received a response stating that it can take a few weeks for them to process refunds after they are received. I understand this is a small business as I'm a business owner myself however processing refunds in a timely manner is part of running a business. I couldn't imagine having my customers wait weeks for me to process their refund or have them repurchase as an exchange. I feel like having your customers wait weeks on a refund is a huge inconvenience for the buyer. Even though that's their refund policy having your customers repurchase for an exchange is not stated in their policy. Their policy states exchanges and returns accepted however that's not true and is very misleading and should be stated more clearly in your policy. I will not be visiting Levana Bratique shop again. Wasn't very happy with Levana Bratique when I was there on Wed. August 7th. I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed❗ Travel 2 hours, wasn't able to get a bra that I was in need of. I wanted one that opened in the front, but this store does not carry any of those in white and in the size that their staff measured me at. Now when I talked to a staff member on the phone, they told me that you carried multiple types. I did end up buying a bra, but only because I needed one badly. Don't like it at all❗ I had no choice, like I said I was in need of one badly. I knew that it's wasn't the right size, even though the lady said I measure smaller size than the one that I bought. Which is Very uncomfortable❗ I wore it for a whole day, it cut into my shoulders, around my bust line and kept on riding up on me. I am 65 years old so I've been wearing bras for a while and do know how they should fit and feel. Now I have a bra that I can't wear. This was a waste of my money and my time.
I ended up going to a JC Pennies store. The woman there measured me bigger than a 42 L. She measured me as a 48 to a 50 F. A far cry from a 42 L that Levana Bratique staff measured me at. Hopefully the JC Pennies lady gets it right. Which I'm pretty comfortable with her measurements because my old bra was a 48 G. So, the cup is the only thing that has me concerned. But we ordered them and if they are wrong, I can return them unlike Levana Bratique store. So, we will see when they come in if they are the right size.
