This is a great find in Miami. It’s tucked away off US 1. We try to go on weekday nights because weekends are PACKED and the parking lot is small. There is inside and outside seating but not more than maybe 100 people could be served at 1 time. The food is great! The refried beans are smooth and rich, enchiladas are really tasty. One of my favs is the spinach enchilada with chicken, it has a light sauce on it and is soooo good. They do a molé sauce there and it’s good but a little on the sweet side for me. My son got the chicken tacos and finished them in about 5 seconds they were so good! The only thing that could be improved is the rice. The yellow rice is “eh”. But their servings are large, enough for take home at the end of the meal, servers are nice and overall the food is great!

After craving Mexican for weeks, we decided to give Guadalajara a try! It happened to be a rather large group of us (12), and we were hoping to find a way to keep our group together - thankfully, the staff was eager to help and arranged a long table grouping for all of us. The restaurant tends to be a bit loud, as the layout is completely open and sound travels, BUT good food attracts a crowd. My husband placed a few orders of their homemade horchata and it was a big hit amongst our group. 10/10 from the horchata-first-timers. Also. Excellent salsa (a must) We ordered chicken tacos, and steak fajitas and were pleased with both. Definitely an American-Mexican cuisine but you can never go wrong there (plus finding Mexican food in Miami is a task in itself) Good experience & good service

So....I expected better in terms of food, honestly. This is supposed to be an extension of Casita Tejas but the impression it left me was that they are disconnected. I got a large takeout order for Super Bowl Sunday and while what I got was correct, the beef fajita I ordered led me to re-use the Wendy's slogan, WHERE'S THE BEEF? It was maybe two or three pieces in the whole dish, with the rest consisting of onions and bell peppers. HOWEVER, while we waited, the service was very good; with friendly and attentive waitstaff. They even brought us water and chips, so their hospitality is a green flag. The venue is located in a strategic area and has a diverse menu; MAYBE dining in is better in this particular place? I hope so.

The tortilla chronicles Once again, I have been forced out of retirement to carry out my duty, nay my destiny, to be a beacon of light for this community and provide guidance on where to dine. My family has been ordering from Guadalajara for years. Guadalajara is good. It’s solid (except for the suizas, the suizas are amazing). It’s…one of a few options for family style Mexican food. While they get our order wrong 8 out of 10 times, we keep coming back because, well let’s just say we’re a group that can forgive almost any crime in exchange for a bowl of tortilla chips. Anywho, I’m saddened to say, Guadalajara has pushed us too far. This past Sunday, on the day of our Lord April 24, 2022, we were wronged in Pinecrest, Florida. It was a nice day. We debated what to order for dinner until deciding upon Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant. My mother carried the weight of the world on her shoulders when she volunteered as tribute to drive to Guadalajara and place our order in person to avoid any confusion (keep in mind the aforementioned statistic regarding Guadalajara’s success rate). She bravely placed her order (which was not particularly complicated) and was informed that it would be “a while” before the food was ready. As any good Miami woman would do, she mustered up her patience and strength and replied, “Dale.” Approximately one hour later, my mother, who at this point deserves to be canonized as a saint, was presented with her to-go order. Much to her dismay, almost the entire order was incorrect. And yet, she persisted. It was clear that the other diners were facing similar issues. I should mention that the patrons at the tables appeared famished. At one point, my mother heard a grown man beg for a tortilla or something, anything, to keep him from starvation. Eventually, after an hour and forty five minutes of waiting, our order was ready. Was it correct? Negative. Was it tasty? Sure. It’s going to be a while before we can do that again. It’s up to you to heed my warning. To anyone this helped, you are sincerely welcome. Some may say I’m a voice for the voiceless. To that I said, no, I’m...

My Friends, I not quite sure where to start! I have so many wonderful things to say about staff and the awesome food!!

The Food Is AWESOME, SPECTACULAR, just DAMN DELICIOUS!! The Staff of the Restaurant are Incredible!! You are Greeted the moment you walk in!! Once you are seated a staff member bring you CHIPS & Salsa immediately!! YUM YUM YUM!!!

I have tried many different items on the menu - Burritos, Tacos, Tostada, and Enchilados. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered. Although my favorite is the Crunchy Taco and Ground Beef Enchilado. The Enchilado has several different sauces to choose from. I have tried all the sauces!! My Favorite is Salsa de Verde!! AWWW!! But, the Salsa de Mole is extremely delicious too!!

The Staff!! The Staff is AWESOME!! Every time I go to the Restaurant I feel as if visiting a relative's house for a meal. The Staff makes feel so so so Welcome!! In fact, one particular Staff member, Yanina is an AMAZING SPECIAL PERSON!! Every time I came to the Restaurant with my mom, who at the time was terminally ill, Yanina would see mom and immediately stop what she was doing and come to my mom and give her an incredible hug. She would ask my mom how she was doing..... My Mom loved Yanina and loved the food!!! In fact when Yanina would see my mom, she would immediately have the kitchen make my mom a special plate of food as she knew my mom had a hard time eating. To this day I still go to Guadalajara all the time for lunch and dinner with family and friends!!

Mi Amigos, if you have not been to Guadalajara, you are missing out!! Make it a point to get your family and friends together and go there for a meal!!!! I PROMISE YOU, You Will Not be...

I've been going to this restaurant for around 20 years. It's a great little out of the way spot that serves excellent tex-mex styled food. You can get corn tortillas, which I always consider a bonus for a Mexican place (the flour ones taste pasty imho, whereas corn tortillas are not only more authentically Mexican, they have a much better flavor, and are generally gluten free, though they may have been processed on machinery that processes wheat, so it depends on how gluten free you need them to be, you have to ask everywhere you eat obviously if you have celiac disease, where just being processed on the same machinery might matter, that's different than if you're just sensitive to gluten, in which case regardless of machinery, they are gluten free enough). I often order the chicken nachos there, which are delicious, I highly recommend adding a side of guacamole to them, it just makes then that much better, but then I'm quite partial to guacamole 🙂

I highly recommend this little Mexican restaurant if you're nearby and want some Mexican, it's probably the best Mexican place in at least a five to ten mile radius, and I have tried all the Mexican places in the area. I ❤️...
