After my grandmother's passing, my mother decided to import from Spain a 3 piece set that had been in the family close to 75 years. My mother reupholstered them twice. I never liked her choice in fabric or the color of the wood itself. It's safe to say that I was never truly attached to the set. One day she told me she was going to get rid of it and asked if I wanted them, immediately I said YES! I wanted to keep it in the family.

I brought the set to Bill at Regency, with an image in my mind of what I wanted to achieve. Bill quickly grasped my image and made if reality.

At Regency there is a vast variety of fabric to choose from. You don't have to go somewhere else for fabric. They have every type of pattern, color, and texture to choose from. Bill even helped me find this beautiful Italian fabric that complemented the color I had chosen to change the furniture into. He even came up with the idea to use the same type of fabric in a reciprocal color for the back of each piece and for the trimming.

He took me to a wall near the main office, where no lie there was at least 300 different colors to chose from for the staining of the furniture. I chose 2 colors and found myself in a dilemma. I liked both and could not decide which I liked more. Bill told me to come back in a couple of days. I did just that. When I came back he took me to the back of the facility and showed me both sample colors. One color on each of the legs. Seeing it directly on the furniture made it simple for me to make a final decision.

The work took a little longer than anticipated, but so worth the wait. The set looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Everyone that walks into my home can't help but stare!

IF you're planning on refinishing or restoring anything wood in your home, you MUST take it to Regency Restoration Group. This company has earned their 5 star reviews! They are fabulous. Not only is their work absolute perfection, they are personable, professional, and go out of their way to make sure that your needs are met. I had 15 large kitchen cabinet doors refinished by Regency. The cabinets are solid wood and good quality, however the house had been rented for 5 years and they were in really bad shape. We replaced all the bottom cabinets and put in a new countertop. The top cabinet doors were not as bad and just needed to be refinished. I knew I'd found the right company when Bill told me to make sure to bring one of the new cabinet doors with me. Why? So they could not only match the color perfectly but also match the finish. And they sure did. My kitchen is gorgeous and the cabinet doors that Regency refinished are perfect. They look brand new. You'd never know they're over 25 years old. Oh, Regency upholsters too. Just dropped off a desk task chair. They had a large fabric choice and I have no doubt that the chair will look as professionally done as my cabinets. Plan on taking a chair and ottoman next. I am only giving five stars because I cannot give more. Bill and his team are the best! Not only in the professional high quality they give, but in the special care they treat their customers with. Which is very rare these days, but he certainly sets the right example. We interviewed many companies to properly enlarge the island in our kitchen, but all to no avail until we found Bill and Regency Furniture Restoration. The island had an unusual shape, so everyone we previously interviewed for the job, insisted our idea was not possible. Up until we met Bill from Regency. Bill immediately understood what we wanted and also pointed out the important factors to consider in order to have it done right. He thought of every detail, almost as if it was for his home.
