This review is for the Pinetoberfest Beer Festival, not the park itself.

Pros:

The photo booth was really fun!

The staff provided good customer service.

Clean bathrooms

Cons (Tickets were between $35 to $45 to deal with these):

It was disappointing because of the following:

Waste of space, the Village of Pinecrest should have used more of the open space to put more of a variety of games (or vendors, or sitting places) to offer. They had like 5 games in total for a space enough to put around 20+.

Lack of sitting areas, whatever you got, you had to enjoy it standing up. There were some tables at the entrance of the park, but just to sit like around 10 groups compared to the 1000+ that were there. That was total negative for many others there.

The music was just average, they needed a better DJ, the way he transitioned genres was odd and out of rhythm.

Their police officers were just in a corner talking to each other and some even playing games instead of actually patrolling and doing their job.

Their VIP tickets are a joke, it just allowed you to park closer and enter an hour earlier (when everything was dead). The Village needs to be more creative on the perks offered if they make you pay more for it.

Although, there were a variety of vendors, they were just offering samples. If you liked the beer, cocktail, etc. They weren't for sale.

Only a tiny percentage were food vendors (like 5 vs the 25+ beer vendors).

Parking was small and chaotic! The village needs to find a better place to host this event.

Conclusion:

Save your money and go...

Evelyn Greer Park: Where Recreation and Natural Beauty

UniteTucked away within its sprawling ten acres, Evelyn Greer Park, with its enchanting Leslie Bowe Hall, is a true haven for recreation and community bonding.

For sports enthusiasts, the park offers multipurpose athletic fields, tailor-made for baseball, softball, and soccer. Whether you're pitching a perfect game or scoring that winning goal, this park has got you covered. And if you're an aspiring slugger, there are batting cages to hone your swing.

Recognizing the importance of an active lifestyle, Evelyn Greer Park features a walking/jogging track and strategically placed exercise stations, inviting visitors to stay fit amidst the lush greenery. The South Florida weather becomes a companion on your fitness journey.

A standout feature is the charming gazebo, an idyllic setting to relax, socialize, or even catch up on work with Wi-Fi access. It's a place where the community comes together.

The Village of Pinecrest was officially incorporated on March 12, 1996. Evelyn Langlieb Greer was elected the first mayor and served from 1996 until 2004. She is considered the founding mother of Pinecrest in recognition of her efforts as one of the main advocates for incorporation of the area. Pinecrest Park was renamed in her honor.

Evelyn Greer Park offers 10 acres of well maintained recreational fun for the City of Pinecrest. One of the nicest features of the park is Leslie Bowe Hall which can be rented for $450 for the first three hours. Leslie Bowe Hall has the capacity to accommodate 150 guests and comes with five 8-foot rectangle tables, fifteen 72" round tables, and 150 banquet style chairs. The park also has a gazebo with Wi-Fi which can be rented for $200 for the first three hours. Both facilities make this park very inviting for people who want to host weddings, parties, and private events.

The park also has a lot of amenities that appeal to families, team sports players, and fitness enthusiasts. Throughout the park you will find multi purpose athletic fields, batting cages, outdoor gym equipment, picnic tables, a playground, restroom, paved walking trails, and water fountains. The park is beautifully landscaped with large shade trees and lush plants. Many classes are offered in the park like a cross fit boot camp. Check with recreation department for information on...

This review is in regards to the goat yoga: On select Sundays of the month, Evelyn Greer sponsors Goat Yoga (Goat Yoga in the 305) on Eventbrite for $35 a person. They section off a section of the park in order to corral the goats. I thought this experience was super funny as they educate you on the goats and let you pet them. The yoga itself wasn’t great, the instructor didn’t do much and it was < 30 minutes when the experience said it was 2 hours. It was cool for a one time thing. Otherwise, Evelyn Greer is spacious, well maintained, and in a nice area.
