VERY DISAPPOINTED; Came down to visit my sister in Florida after waiting two months to see her, and she mentioned this place. I’m from Michigan, I’m 20 years old, and I have a REAL ID. They wouldn’t let me in because apparently my ID “isn’t valid” in Florida? Yet somehow my 18-year-old sister gets in just fine. Make that make sense. Keep in mind I did not have a fake ID. I was not trying to drink. I was simply trying to go in there and line dance.. my ID clearly said I was 20 years old!

The woman working the front had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen—straight-up rude, nasty, and acted like she owned the place. Glad I didn’t waste my money or a tip on her, which I actually planned on giving. Won’t ever step foot in this dump again—thanks for ruining what should’ve been a fun night for me and my sister. Not to mention this lady was not even scanning IDs, not using a light, literally straight looking at them and saying if you could go in or not?

And to top it off, she told me I couldn’t even wait inside because my ID “wasn’t legal.” How the hell did she think I flew here from Michigan without a valid ID? Logic clearly isn’t her strong suit. Whoever hired her should rethink their choices, because she’s driving customers away left and right.

Lucky for me I had money for an Uber and went to another bar, where—surprise—I got in no problem. The lady at the first place told me, “In Florida if you don’t have a REAL ID you can’t get in.” Well, explain how another bar let me right in then. Exactly.

Judging by all the bad reviews this place already has and the fact that management clearly ignores them, it shows exactly what kind of business this is. Honestly, I hope they do get shut down. I bought a bucket of Stella beers for USD 26.5 and wrote in the total value USD 30. That is, USD 3.5 tip. However, I was charged me USD 56.5!!! As if I would have given USD 30 as a tip and this was not the case, and I doub someone ever do this. They told me that will refund my money but never did it. And now they don't answear my messages. Closed my tab which I only had 2 drinks, Seen it was $6.36 gave a $4 tip, signed it & I have the receipt. They ended up charging me twice on my card, but the amounts were different. 1 was $8.36 & the other was $10.36. Truth: I always like to start with bad in order not to leave anticipation and cut it straight. The bar itself was quite busy and lines were unreal. In all fairness this was their opening night. Apart from that.. this place is amazing. They have literally fixed every problem the Waterin Trough had. There is actually live music playing COUNTRY music.. interesting concept for a country bar, who knew it worked. The crowd was electric and people were singing along and dancing. The previous establishment played rap and the element was far from conducive. I believe this new revival will be around for a long time.. I was very pleased to have met the owner and I am happy to say I was able to relay this to him personally.
