I have been going to Burger King every weekday morning for (2)mths, and then every other Saturday morning when I have to work. I normally go to the one on Ulmerton because it’s closer to my job, but this morning, since I was running a little late, I was afraid I would miss breakfast, so I went to the one by my house, on 66th St and Ulmerton. I have SEVERE OCD, and when I order my french toast sticks, I have to ask them for no end-pieces of the bread. Conceptually , it’s kinda like no crust on your sandwich. I politely let them know that I know it’s a strange request, and explain that I have severe OCD, and therefore cannot help it. At my “regular” location, the people there are absolutely amazing, always accommodating, and never once made me feel uncomfortable, like it was a burden or a hassle, but always reassuring that it’s ok, that I am ok. That was not at all my experience this morning. Instead, I was embarrassed, laughed at, informed that there was just no way possible to fill my order as requested, because they can’t control how the sticks are cut up and packaged. (As if I’m completely unaware of the particular attention to detail I am asking someone else to endure.). I know how these things are distributed, we can all purchase them in the freezer section of the grocery store. I don’t think it’s such an outrageous thing to ask, but I do know that it is still irritating to be asked such a thing. And if you feel it’s too difficult, or are unwilling to accommodate, then you can just politely say that you’re unwilling for whatever reason. And that’s ok. That being said, I don’t think it’s right to make someone feel less-than, or to make fun of a mental health issue, especially when the person is brave enough to let you know of said mental health issue. Being made to feel this way has just set me back in such a way that I feel I’ve lost some of the stable footing I had been on in accepting all of the day-to-day struggles that come with trying to complete even the simplest of routine daily tasks while being so OCD. To me, this is as profoundly sad as it is frustrating. I thought better of people in this...
Read moreOrdered Whopper meal with CHEESE. After waiting 15mins in drive thru, I pay & wait even longer. Politely ask if there's a problem with my order. Told they're waiting on my fries. Another 5 minutes. I ask how long it will be, the nice girl at the window asked the manager how long & he walks over & says with a nasty attitude "We have people ordering indoors too" and simply walks away. After waiting some more I finally get my order & I should have checked it at the drive thru, BUT I did verify it with her that it indeed had cheese on it & she said "Yes". I get home. NO CHEESE ON WHOPPER & 2 cheeseburgers on the side?! I didn't order cheesburgers! I tried to leave a review on BK Experience but it required a code from my receipt. THERE WAS NO CODE! Sooo...I called customer relations. Told I would receive a call or email within 48hrs. Days go by...NOW I leave my review on BK's Twitter account. They requested I send them my email & cell number & a summary of what happened. I was told they would "open a case" on my complaint and forward it to the store itself. THE MANAGER HIMSELF WAS RUDE & USELESS. Been over a week since my visit. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED A CALL, EMAIL, NOTHING! This location has made errors in the past with my orders but I would let it go. But I had enough. They literally sent my complaint right back to where it started! Absolutely USELESS. Thanks SOOOO much Burger King for giving a sh*t about your customers. I work with patients everyday at my job so I understand more than anyone what it's like to deal with the public. But there is NO MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE. More like CUSTOMER FRUSTRATION. I wasn't asking for something I didn't deserve or pay for. I just wanted it made right somehow. I reached out, provided the information they asked for and not a word. No wonder this location has so many negative reviews. Maybe a good start would be to start listening and caring about your paying customers & putting forth effort hiring individuals that will provide that very same concern and level of service for your customers. But clearly you do not value us, your...
Read moreI will never come to this location ever again!!! By far the worst experience I've ever had in a drive-through period! I asked for a second to figure out what I wanted in the Drive-Thru and when I was ready I sat there for almost 5 minutes waiting and saying hello and no one answered and meanwhile the other drive-thru seem to be working as he was taking another customer's order that pulled up while I was still waiting for a response. So I drove around and I got in the second drive-thru thinking there was a problem with the speaker. But I had the same issue no one would answer me I almost thought that someone was playing a cruel game. So I went around again to the original drive-thru and I was persistent at saying hello loudly this time and he said "yeah are you going to order or what" I said "sir I'm not trying to argue with you, I was just trying to tell you what happened" and I drove around and he claimed that I did not. He had an attitude that screamed "I hate my job". I couldn't get a supervisor on the phone I tried calling twice. I also called customer service to file a complaint which I can say their customer service line was a joke as well as she told me to just go to another location if I still want food. I'm really sad that my son had to witness how a grown man can speak to a women like that. My son really just wanted a milkshake and fries so I swallowed my pride and went inside with him but was even more disappointed to see that I didn't see any workers inside and there were fries everywhere on the counter and all over where they shouldn't have been. It looked dirty with a drippy sink and I said nope never again not coming...
