PL Market – European Grocery & Deli — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

Horrible place, terrible customer service. I had been to the deli a few times and even though the lady behind counter was rude, I gave several chances because I like polish food. Last time I was in one of the things I had bought was some ham that they sliced for me. Got home, went to make a sandwich and found out the ham was spoiled I went back to the store and ried to exchange or get a refund. They tasted it and flat out refused and said nothing was wrong with it. I left it and told them then they can eat it and they had lost a customer. They did not care. Normally I wouldn't say something like this, but I hope they got sick. This was before the new signage, so I don't know if they changed ownership. Called today and asked if it was under new management and the lady just hung up on me. So, who knows? I am not going to go in to see if that's the way they treat their customers. What a great place! I went in to get Pasztet and Smalec which were both super delicious. I am not sure why some comments said the ladies behind the counter were rude because they were super helpful and very nice. While I do not speak much Polish and was internally freaking out and nervous to try with the little Polish I knew, the ladies were very friendly and I didn’t feel obliged to do it. They have such a wide variety of Polish selections from seasonings to flower to pierogi and more. They were super nice and friendly as well. The lady behind the counter even showed me where I could find the Smalec because I had trouble finding it myself. Super cool place and I can’t wait to stop in again. I am Polish and Italian. I missed having polish food. I bought sweet cheese pierogi's (frozen) and fresh Kielbasa that was homemade. It was delicious and price per pound was not expensive. Even though the pierogi's were frozen, they were just like I remembered. The lady that worked there was very nice. Some jarred food in the store was a little pricy but if you want authentic then I guess you have to pay a little more.
