I’ve been eating here for over 2 years now. At first, it was great, but now it’s gone downhill.
Last time I came, they said they had no peppers and onions, as I see the raw chopped peppers and onions in a container right next to the grill. They were just too lazy to cook it. Would have taken 5 minutes, and I would have been fine with waiting.
Tonight when I came in, there was a sign on the door that says “closed due to short staffing, but online orders would be accepted until 8:30 pm”. There was someone behind the counter, and other people inside, and the door was unlocked, so I went in.
The gal behind the counter told me that they were closed for inside guests unless it was an online order. Somewhat confused, I said “That’s fine, I’m doing a to-go order anyway”, thinking that she could still ring me up. She then told me that I had to order my food on my phone for her to make it… frustrating, but that’s what I did.
So for the awkward 5-7 minutes of me pulling my phone out, downloading the Moe’s app, doing my order, putting in my card, and finally ordering while standing at the counter, I could have ordered with her and just had my food done already.
When I finally ordered my food, she looked at the ticket and said that they don’t have grilled onions and peppers, although it lets you order it on the app.
So after saying “Nevermind, I’ll just take a refund”, she told me that I had to come back tomorrow when her manager gets there in the morning.
On top of that, I ordered a cup of queso. She scraped every corner of the queso ramekin and still couldn’t fill the cup halfway. She tried to be nice and says “I’m sorry that’s all the queso we have, pick something that I can give you for free.” I felt sorry for her for being in the situation so I said it’s fine and left.
So now I’m driving home with my food that’s missing ingredients, my half cup of fully paid for queso, and a receipt for $35 for 2 burritos with no drinks.
Not only has this place gone down hill, but it has gotten way too overpriced. Casitas is half the money and...
Read moreI am a huge fan of Moe's and it is a go to on Mondays always. But the experience I had at this location on a Sunday evening was not at all anything I have experienced at any other Moe's. I frequent a few different locations near me and it's always a great visit. The evening I visited here was a line full of teenage kids being kids. The one preparing my nachos was not listening to me at all he was defending himself from the other kid telling him he had body odor and needed a shower.Yuck that did not help my hunger knowing the one making my food did not have a great hygiene routine. Then it turned into a full on battle of insults between the two of them.My nachos that were to go got queso on them instead of the side I got fresh jalapenos instead of pickled. They were just a pile of mess. I called the next morning in hopes to speak to a manager about the situation but they were not in.I left my number and name and never had a returned call.I had spent 15 dollars and was unable to eat the food .I was traveling for work and staying at a hotel.I ended up eating Culvers across from my hotel that night. A week alter when I received my Per Diem for my meals is when I was reminded I never had received a return call.I then called again and was able to speak to a manager Pablo apologized and told me to download the rewards app and he would replace my meal by adding points to offset the cost of my lost meal.I did as he asked downloaded the app and nothing two days after that call I called back he was not in but I was assured by another manager Pagie that she would call him and he would do it that day. It's been another 4 days and no word from Pablo or any points added.I try and never give a bad review in fact this might be my first but the way the manager handled this was as unprofessional as his adolescents that worked his line unsupervised that...
Read moreWe were shocked at the service level of this Moe's compared to the ones we have been to in the past. First off, when we walked in nobody greeted us, which is not a huge deal, but you could just sense the unfriendliness. They were all super unhappy to be there and it showed. There was someone before us getting helped and it was just a mess from what we could see. The workers didnt know what they were doing, and it just looked like a bunch of confusion. From what we could tell, there was a fairly new girl working and thats what cause a lot of the mix up. it took about 10 min of us standing behind the customer in front of us before our order was finally started. We did not get a smile or any sense of enthusiasm. What looked like the manager walked out, and was examining the food and did not look up at us once. The entire time we placed our food order, the person in front of us was STILL trying to check out and the worker just could not figure out what to ring up or what was made. Finally, it was our turn to check out and we had to ask for the chips. I looked at the salsa names on the side since they are not out for covid, and asked for 2 sauces, to which we were told they dont have those and "honestly we probably only have one kind"....so i said just give me whatever you have. We ordered two fountain drinks and had to remind the girl to hand us the cups. The food was mediocre at best, super expensive for Moe's and not nearly enough food and the food just didnt look as fresh as normal. What was interesting, was that mid-meal the manager was walking around talking to his employees and we kept hearing him talk about the frozen ingredients they use, which just didnt seem right to hear from a manager while we are eating. All in all, i wish i did not waste my money on this and shouldve just gone...
