I’ve ordered here at least 10 times through Uber or DoorDash. Tonight, I wanted pho. I ordered through DoorDash this time. I called because I needed to make sure my pho was with rice noodles since I couldn’t choose on the app. I also asked if the veggie pho came with hoisin sauce. Because you know that makes the soup. The lady said yes. Okay great. Then I didn’t need to order a side of it. When I got it, of course there’s no hoisin sauce. I called back and a guy answered, he apologized and then I hear a lady in the background. She grabs the phone and says that the other lady I spoke to doesn’t know the menu but that “next time you should have added on a side so you get your sauce” EXCUSE ME? That’s why I called. Rather than apologize, take accountability and issue me a credit for my two soups for their mistake she pretty much blamed me on why my order was wrong. That’s where I got mad. No, train your staff to know the menu. On top of this, I called DoorDash and even they wouldn’t refund my $25 because the sauce isn’t listed in the description on the app. ARE WE SERIOUS? A million dollar company and you can’t refund or give a credit back? They only wanted to give me $16 in credits after an HOUR of explaining my issue. I wasn’t nasty nor rude. And now as I’m leaving a review I see all the comments about roaches?! Nopeee. I’ve seen and heard enough. This is how you get cancelled. Going back to Uber eats. And there’s plenty of other pho places to support that have clean restaurants and that appreciate business. You should be ashamed. And I noticed not many reply’s to your negative comments. Not surprised....
Read moreSeriously need to reconsider who is running the kitchen during the weekend. Have ordered here before and had the best, freshest tasting food, but usually on a wednesday or thursday.
We ordered for pickup on Saturday; a coconut chicken curry, a beef app and my boyfriend got the beef fried rice. We decided to do this since I had a weekend deadline I was trying to hit and didn't have the time to cook.
The food wasn't as fresh as it always was prior, and the appetizer was so old and dry I couldn't even feed it to my dogs. I ate half the curry before it had upset my stomach and my boyfriends stir fry was almost as dry as the appetizer. I didn't finish my curry and ate nothing for the rest of the day, having felt a bit off. At 4am I woke up violently ill. The food poisoning was so bad my boyfriend almost took me to the hospital which would have been a fun bill to add to the money we wasted on lunch here. I spent most of my day incoherent and in pain so to add to the misery, I also am now late on my deadline as it is Monday now and I am still feeling the affects of the food I ate on Saturday.
Seriously just hope its a staffing issue. It's a shame given how good the food has been before, but given the severity of how ill I was, My boyfriend and I...
Read moreAfter ordering from them 4-5 days a week for over 2 months. Always ordering the same order, I would get pho but with no cilantro, no jalapeño, no basil, no lime, no onions, but I would ask for extra bean sprouts and extra noodles. They never had any problem. Then today they send my order with the wrong sauce and decided that noodles cost extra so they didn’t sent them. Could have called me!!! There isn’t even a option when placing you order to get extra noodles and a sandwich bag full of noodles costs what about .50. The stuff I said no to costs a lot more, I don’t get money back for not getting them. Well tonight was my last order. No respect for their regulars?!?!? I have a business myself and regulars are what keep us running, you have to take care of them. I take care of mine, I do whatever to make sure everyone leaves happy. Even if I cost me a $1 or $10. They will remember, they will come back and spends $100 over.
FYI. Ha Long Bay and Tasty Pho are open again, they are close by, deliver and their food is so much better. Would have been ordering from them the whole time but they closed for a bit due to...
