This was the LAST STRAW! Me and my son went to eat dinner (9-13-23) inside. Stood at the counter (never being acknowledged once again), then was Greated By The most Nastiest, Rude, Horrible Lady that walked over to take our order. All im gonna say about her is she would be the FIRST to go Working for Me! CLEARLY EVERYONE THERE HATES THE JOB, AND THEY DEFFENTLY SHOW IT. Anyways. We Get our food from the 1 decent human working there (an older lady whos always been very nice). My Son got half way done with his sandwich, UNTILL WE REALIZED it was STILL PINK AND NOT FULLY COOKED! As he was sitting there wile i attempted to eat my Chicken Nugget "Rocks", My Son rushed to the Bathroom and Threw Up! I asked him what was up and he said he started feeling sick before we even noticed it wasnt fully cooked. HE WAS SICK THE REST OF THE NIGHT THROWING UP!! NOW PAST EXPERIENCE- So me and my son DID eat at THIS location for the past 6 months , our first time trying it out, I wasn't sure how or if the Drive threw worked because iv NEVER seen anyone in line when I pull up. (NOW I KNOW WHY) Anyways I pull to the first window thinking I had to order there, but after sitting there for a few minutes and the employees in the back CLEARLY seen me sitting there (because we made Eye contact twice), I figured this isn't the window let me go to the next one, I pull up to the second window and I tell the guy (who noticed me by the way) I'm not sure how this works but wanted to place an order. He said o you have to make it at the othere window, I said No one is at the other window? He says he should be back now, you have to go back around and order from him... Smh I'm like whatever no big deal stuff happens. Get my order and the food was not half bad. Well it's PROGRESSIVELY GOTTEN WORSE AND WORSE AND WORSE! (Hens My LAST VIST of my son GETTING SICK) You don't get Receipts, unless you ask at the SECOND window, Not when you pay. The service got so bad out side, we started eating INSIDE. I THOUGHT it would be much faster service anyways. NOPE. I kid you not Every time we go inside to eat, you can see all of the workers, just so pissed they have to work and They definitely Treat You Exactly Like Work. As time went on EVERYTHING GOT WORSE. It's by far the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, SLOWEST, and the Food has Gotten to the point NOW MY SON GOT SICK and I COULDN'T EVEN FINISH MY ROCKS! It's unfortunate because if they actually had new ownership and definitely Completely new Staff and Hired people who have actually had jobs before in customer service wise or EVEN LISTENED TO OTHERE CUSTOMER REVIEWS POSTED, it might of been Salvageable. Anyways I DEFFENTLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING at THIS LOCATION or EVEN attempt trying it out or going back. Unless you like being TREATED LIKE TRASH and PAYING Chick -FIL-A Prices for FOOD YOU CAN'T EAT NOW. I'd Stay...
Read moreUpdate 3 (Nov 2023): The chicken tenders they serve are still some of the best you can buy in the area. All of the sauces are great, but ranch is still my favorite. They have more people working each shift and no one seems super stressed anymore. The 5 tender combo meal is 12.49 now, which includes waffle fries and a drink.
If you eat your food there during the day, bring sunglasses. There are no shades on the windows and the sun is blinding in almost all of the seats available.
Update 2 (Feb 2022): They are dealing with shortages for fries, but when they have them, their waffle fries beat everyone else's offerings. Only one member of long-term staff remains. Prices are even higher and tots don't seem to be a side choice anymore.
Update 1 (July 2019): They have added tots as a side item, without an upcharge. They also notified me they have the ingredients for totchos all the time, even though they're not on the menu.
Sauce choices for the chicken are now: sweet sriracha, chipotle bbq, ranch, buffalo bleu, honey mustard, creamy garlic, and honey bbq.
This isn't new, but the most unique feature at PDQ is that, unlike other fast food in the area, they have an actual person take your order when you drive up, instead of yelling into a speaker. This personal touch makes their drive thru the best in the area.
Staff is now better at taking care of customers in a timely manner, but I still can't get my chicken strips extra crispy, even though I order them that way; they are always happy to correct this though. They always get the tatertots right.
Finally, several menu items have been removed, like the BBQ ranch and Hawaiian chicken sandwiches. The only reason I knocked one star is because I think the prices are little too high for this area, with 3 tenders and fries at 7.49.
Oct 2018: The saucesome promotion has ended, so the best deal they offer now is the kid's meal with 2 chicken tenders or 5 nuggets, fries or other side, and a small drink for $4.49. This is enough for a small meal. If you're the kind of person who skips fries and sides, you might be better off ordering just tenders, but they don't sell them in small quantities without a side item.
A wide selection of carbonated drinks are available from the fancy Coke machines. Glass bottles of Cheerwine are on ice near the register. They also offer unsweetened, sweetened,...
Read moreThis place should be called “People Dedicated To Scamming” Last year in February my family and I ordered chicken finger platters for the super bowl, on top of a whole bunch of other food. My husband gets back to our family Super Bowl party only to realize we don’t have any of the containers of sauce that come with the tenders that we got. My husband calls the Pinellas Park PDQ for them to tell him to go to the one in Clearwater to retrieve the sauces. My husband heads over there and by this time the game had already started. When he gets to the Clearwater PDQ and asks for the sauces he is abruptly told “no” and “that they don’t replace anything from other stores and that’s not the way their organization works. At this point my husband is beyond frustrated and embarrassed and calls back the PDQ store to ask them why on earth they wouldn’t have called and cleared this up with the store prior to him arriving? Meanwhile all the food is at home getting cold and super hungry people are choking down dry tenders. The manager apologized to my husband and said they felt “so bad” and offered to replace his order “whenever he wanted”. My husband even told the manager that he didn’t know when we would be having a large gathering again and it might be a while before we use it. To which this manager reassured him that my husbands name would be written down and we could come back whenever and again they were “so sorry”. Fast forward to Super Bowl 2022 we call ahead to put in a catering order for the super bowl and tell the girl who answered( I believe her name started with a D I have it written down at my office) the situation and my husband’s name only for this girl to literally LAUGH at us and say they aren’t replacing chicken tenders over sauce and that the manager that was there last year no longer works there and we should of used it last year if we wanted it. It felt like such a slap in the face. UP until then we were loyal PDQ customers and couldn’t wait to receive our order that was promised to us. This lady acted like we called and tried to steal something. Unfortunately I will never eat at a PDQ again and I will make sure to tell other people about PDQ and their unjust practices. I’ll also be...
