VERY UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!
A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!
Ordered through Curbside Pickup for ASAP, what was said to be in about 30-35 minutes for pickup time. On average, other locations from The Habit consist a much shorter time for ASAP pickup time, even during peak hours.
However, when arriving to the location, there were many customers already waiting outside, prior to waiting more than 45-60 minutes from being said out in the air.
After receiving the automated message notifying the order being prepared, there was no other message indicating the order being ready. As time passes, there were few cars that were being handed their order, who have JUST arrived to the parking lot. As I check in to see the situation, there was a deserted amount of food being laid out on their food counter, and other upset clientele waiting.
I was told the order would be ready in 10 minutes, AFTER WAITING more than 30 minutes from the pickup ready time. It is understandable that during dinner hours, it can be a bit stressful. Nonetheless, what irks me and there is no exception to the clueless and inattentive staff who were standing around, leaving orders left and right with no straight direction.
After waiting another 15 minutes, and seeing another car being offered the Curbside Service, no shorter than a 2 minute wait, appropriately checking in myself when I received the second message, I bargained in the lobby and saw my order laid out on the counter, cold and stale, who knows how long.
WHY WOULD THIS LOCATION OFFER CURBSIDE SERVICE IF IT WILL NOT BE BROUGHT TO OUR CAR, LET ALONE LEAVING NUMEROUS OF WALK-IN/MOBILE CUSTOMERS WAITING FAR TOO LONG FOR SMALL ORDERS? Not even a small compensation or apologies for this improper inconvenience!
The staff are most likely very selective to the customers, being discriminatory, even despite most of the staff being POC.

Read moreThis location is the most unprofessional distracted group of workers I've ever seen. Instead of working to make sure orders are getting out on time they stand distracted by their shift leader no less gossiping about the latest TV episode he saw. I kid you not! Meanwhile my burgers sat completed in the bag waiting for fries. No one had the good sense to make a order of fries and finish the order that was sitting directly infront of them. I sat on the bar stool across from the counter and noted just how unprofessional the entire staff were. A cook in the back finally reminded them many minutes after she noticed my burgers were still there completed and no one put fries down to cook. No planning just a bunch of inept non motivated employees. From the surly cashier to the prep and kitchen workers.
Due to none of the staff wearing name tags I can't tell you which one was more incompetent? I've never had anything near this type of awful service at a Habit Burger. And I've been to a lot of them. Even the burgers were terrible. Don't stop here it's a waste of your time and money. Until this location can correct its employees conduct and reaffirm its commitment to customer service. Bless the over burdened staff. It’s not their fault.
I went at 6pm., on a Saturday night. There were MANY online orders coming in. It took a while to have someone take my order and as I explained my choices, I could tell the room was stressed.
I asked for my fries and onion rings to be “lightly fried” but was given cold fries and burnt onion rings. The Strawberry sundae had far too much syrup; 3Xs what is needed for a regular serving, but the ice cream was good. I ended up returning the onion rings and asked that they “lightly fry”them for me, and those ones were JUICY fabulous! On the melted cheese sandwich with extra veggies, the grilled onions were cooked well. And the soda tasted fresh.
Staff was over run by ONLINE orders. They need two additional employees! One person devoted to those online orders, one person devoted to the cash register/order station, to greet guests, to take their orders, and care for the public areas, including the bathroom.
