Wendy's — Restaurant in Piqua

Highly upsetting! The mornings I get off work at 930am, I always go through Wendy’s for my favorite Brkfst sandwich (maple bacon chicken croissant). I got held up this morning & didn’t get to pull into drive thru until 10:34am, breakfast ends at 10:30am! I managed a Wendy’s in another town for years so I know very well it wouldn’t have taken them any effort to make the sandwich. But instead they completely turn me down. No cars behind me, only one in front. They weren’t busy. I even asked for just the chicken & bacon & NOPE. Wendy’s WAS my favorite. But if a regular means so little, unlike how I treated those I served, then you aren’t in the right business. The 10 minutes of peace I get, sitting in my vehicle eating my favorite food is the highlight of my day. You just took that from me. I take care of the elderly & if I could have made it 5 minutes sooner I would have have, this fr ruined my fondness for Wendy’s in Piqua. I had gone here with my partner and he had ordered a double baconator, and I ordered a single baconator. These were meals which came with a medium fry and drink. We waited for our food as usual, and then we got our food and my partners hamburger was wrong. They had given us a Dave’s double instead of a double baconator. Now this is where my review kicks in because I had went up there to get this corrected and the cashier had pulled another employee up to see what was wrong. She was wanting to argue with me that she had put bacon on that hamburger. This was an entirely wrong hamburger that was given to us. She then proceeded to say in the back to her fellow associates that she did in fact put bacon on the hamburger. This staff at the Wendy’s in Piqua, OH is one of the most unprofessional and negligent groups I have seen at a fast food restaurant in a while. I'm extremely disappointed. This use to be a wonderfully ran store. This use to also be one of the restaurants known in Piqua for their speed of service, freshness of food, and kindness. I use to work here years ago and people seemed happier also. I dont know whats happened since 2013, but this place has sadly gone downhill. The person running the front counter was rude. The speed of service was insanely slow, and the food was subpar if I can even say that. My chicken had been sitting in the heating drawer way too long, my pretzel bun was literally the texture of a hard pretzel. The only thing that was remotely good was the salad I ordered. As for the young girl at the front counter. I understand times are hard, and last year into this year hasn't been the best, but a small smile or some form of kindness while serving your customers help. I dont know what happened at this store.
