I had been ordering here for about 10 years now. Last night was my last time. The last couple of times, I've noticed my order was slightly wrong, but last night was so bad, we couldn't eat the food. We have children and order Pad Thai with no spice for them, but this time it came so spicy, that even I couldn't eat it. I phoned to say what went wrong so I could get a replacement, and they didn't believe me when I said it was too spicy. They told me to bring it back so they could replace it. When I got there, they looked at it and said they would make another, but I shouldn't have told them spicy (blamed me) even though the man who took the order on the phone said I asked for no spice. Then they responded by saying that it doesn't ever come spicy but they have to add spice if we request it. I said I know, but I didn't ask for any and your cashier even said that I didn't but your still insisting that it's my mistake. He said yes, because we don't make it spicy. I then told him that there's good news, that I won't be a coming back ever again and he said good because he tried to apologize but I was being difficult. So, there you have it, if your food comes out wrong, it's your fault not there's. And if you say something, you're being difficult. And they don't care if you ever eat there again. I ask you, does this sound like a place that you want to give your...
Read moreWe used to love this place, but what have this place turned to. It's so filthy. The last few times I went, they had flies flying around, sticky tables that smells like they used rags from dirty old water to wipe, and now there's even a roach/cricket insect crawling around. It's pretty disturbing. I notified the waitress right away, one of them just looked and disregard the existence of the roach/cricket. Since it's so disturbing that I can't eat my food, I notified another waitress immediately, the second waitress refused to remove it and told me to kill it myself, because they said its bad karma. If they are in the restaurant business, they should be extra clean. I just asked them nicely to remove it but they refused. Removing it doesn't require them killing it. Honestly, after this time, I will never go there to eat again. I just walked out and asked my cousin to cover me first. I couldn't even eat my food having the thought of there's a possibility other coaches in the back crawling all over the food before they serving it, since they don't like removing it due to bad karma.... Based on their believes, i guess everyone will be eating food that were touched by insects. Eat at your own risk! I don't know how they passed FDA restaurant regulations. It's disgusting!! I have pictures posted on Yelp... could even go on yelp to...
Read moreA little analysis shows me the low reviews are piling up starting from about 3-6 months ago. Let me guess when new management took over but kept the old name and business profile? (And good reviews) That stinks because this place used to be the best 🙄
Ordered Pad see ew. This is not a spicy dish it's savory READ the recipe if you don't believe me. When he asked me about the spice level for the third dish I said mild. Everything should be mild.
Pad see Ew is soy sauce based there should be no spice to begin with. The 2 pad see ew were extremely spicy.
They clearly prepared it wrong. Because they were busy and there was a likely a communication issue. Why a non-thai person should have to explain to a Thai person how to prepare soy sauce noodles is beyond me. When we tried to get them to remake the orders they refused and blamed me for ordering wrong?
I get it you have "warnings" about your spice levels but adding spice to savory dishes shows how "authentic" they are. This place used to be awesome but I will no longer go there.
Google: Pad see Ew:
What is Pad See Ew? These chewy pan-fried noodles are so full of fragrance, you cannot help but fall head over heels. Thailand's famed noodle dish is non-spicy but it doesn't skimp when it...
